She is the best professor I have taken so far. She changed my views on macro economics. She bases her grading mostly on 3 tests (drops the lowest) and her final. As long as you are consistently in class and do not miss any classes then the class is easy to understand. She cares about you if you show effort into studying and talking to your notes.

Quick lectures, but she talks about the same thing over and over. She does not follow her syllabus and forgets everything very easily. Whatever grade she wants you to get is the grade you will get. She will ask you to do homework and will not collect it. Try and make a connection with her by going to office hours, it will help your grade.

Don't expect to get an A. All of her tests are short answers, and the questions are very vague. If you don't write EXACTLY what she is looking for, she will mark you completely wrong. Also, I never even opened up the textbook the entire semester, so don't waste your money. Only take this class if it's a requirement for your major.

No essays and projects. Just 4 exams including the final. She drops the lowest test grade. Tests are not easy. She is crazy about graphs, and essays and short-answer responses include them. Final is 4 essays in 2 hours long, instead of 3 hours. Has office hours, but she clearly states she doesn't reteach during that time. Can be mean at times.

VERY HARD CLASS. You need to work hard for a good grade. She is fair tho! But U need to go to class and PAY ATTENTION. Cant fall asleep bc everything she says needs to be written down. She's cooky and sometimes a bore (sorry Leacy) but knows what she's talking about. What she teaches, will stick with u. Also DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK!! NOT NEEDED!!

Awful. Worst professor I've had in my 4 years of college. Test answers straight from the text book marked wrong, rambles in class, teaches the same thing twice. DO NOT TAKE. take online over the summer.

Leacy seems nice enough and her lectures are interesting. She makes you figure out what you need to take away from them. The test q's are so vague, there could be 10 diff answers and she wants just the right one. Her 101 class is harder than it needs to be. Feels like no matter how well I know the material, I can't convey it well enough for an A.

Dr. Leacy was one of my favorite professors when I went to Wagner. While her classes are challenging at the time, I now find myself consistently referring back to things SHE taught ME. Crazy... Almost like how school is supposed to work. My advice would be to go to class, pay attention and it will pay off long-term.

Comment:
Dr. Leacy is knowledgable and passionate about the subjects she teaches. I do find her classes interesting (this is my second with her). However, she isn't very flexible when it comes to working with students outside of class and her test can be brutal. Go to every class & stay on her good side. She may be on a bit of a power trip.

Leacy's tests are extremely difficult. She would put material on quizzes that we never learned. She's a brilliant person but her course can be confusing. I would only recommend this course to an Econ major.

NEVER TAKE HER CLASS! She gave my class the test for another class and still made us take it. She even knew that we did not learn anything. She marked me wrong on using her words for a definition and when I backed it up with a graph because she is a graph freak, she marked me wrong -_-. She is honestly the worst teacher/profess i have ever had.

Notes all over the place and not a fair grader. If it is not word for word what she wants no half credit just a big red line through the answers on tests. Attendance & participation doesn't even count towards final class grade! Do not take this course!

She is a wonderful teacher and I believe that she is brilliant enough to teach at any university she chooses. She comes across as tough, but she truly cares about her students and their education. She teaches with expert clarity & communicates her expectations up front. You can learn a lot from her, if you put the appropriate effort into the class.

Worst class I've ever taken. Avoid if possible! Her notes were all over the place, didn't make sense most of the time, and I think she might have made up most of the lessons. Horrible professor, if I hear "I'm an economist!" one more time, I might scream.

Terrible. She knows the material but what comes out of her mouth makes little sense. she begs for you to visit her in her office which is creepy and says corny stuff straight out of a 50s sitcom. Will often say "No I'm quite serious" when she thinks she's said something unbelievable when in actuality no one in the class cares. don't take her you ca
