Doesnt help if u ask, does all the prolems his self on the board. He gets mad when you dont understand and says its grade school stuff. Dont even bother buying a book because you wont use it once. Quizzes were not what you were taught. Other than that hes a nice guy. Hes humble and tells storys about his day/week/life alot. kinda hard.

Comment:

I thought this class was mostly fair. He was clear, and I understood the concepts. The tests were mostly easy, but they were too short. So if you make a small mistake, it can affect your grade a lot. Definitely do the homework. I wish he maybe had us do problems on our own during class. I am taking him again next semester.

Comment:

Not very organized when it comes to writing key theorems for the class. He often jumps from one topic to another in an instant. He's easy to understand and has nice stories, but the quizzes and tests aren't really what he goes over in class, which makes attending lectures almost useless at times, in my opinion. Study hard if you want to pass.

He is a great teacher and explains things in a very easy to understand way. He also tells some really funny stories and knows a lot of really interesting random facts about the history of math which makes the class interesting.

Completely useless! If you did not understand a problem, he would say go to the lab for tutoring. We did no examples in the class, he did them all on the blackboard. No class participation!

All tests are take home which is good but they are VERY difficult!! Not always what was covered in class. Be sure to ask questions in class after you recieve the exam (as you usually hav bout a week to complete)
