Professor Robinson's lectures are long, but he covers all the material needed. He will often times post helpful hints during exams to help you pass. I would say that this class is mostly self taught so just read the book on your own & ask questions, when needed. I'd take his class again. With more effort on my end, I could've easily had an A

His lecture made me want to sleep, there are not engaging for a one hour and forty-five min class. No examples, just talking.

Definitely take psychology 101 with Robinson!! He hands out a packet for each unit with everything you need to know for the tests so dont bother buying the textbook. Lectures are extremely boring but he does go through the packet and all definitions which is helpful for the unit tests.

I took this course as a pre-requisite for nursing. I took this in the interim period- 13 night classes in a row. Although lecture heavy, Professor Robinson is a character. He wants you to succeed and will help you in every way possible to pass. Ask questions on exams, he wants you to pass! If you study, and at least skim the book, you will get an A

must read textbook outside of class! hard to make this class interesting but he is a great guy- must actually want to learn and engage yourself in reading outside of class and take your own notes .he provides the answers to learning objectives which is a huge help! overall great professor!!

I had Pro Robinson for the summer course 2018 and he is AMAZING. If you're serious, he will go above and beyond for you. So many people talk badly about him but I'm telling you, someone who will go above and beyond for you, there shouldn't be anything harsh to say about him. He is wonderful. You will be amazed! Although I was not into him at first I just had to push past the boring lectures. I engaged myself in class asked tons of questions and STUDIED. You won't pass without studying. I think he's great. Very helpful, you just have to ask for it.

He's actually a really nice guy, yeah PSY101 is literally just lectures, so far I've gone to class every day but find it impossible to pay attention. I teach myself all the information and haven't gotten lower than a 95 on a test this far in the course. I recommend him just make sure you introduce yourself to him sometime outside of class!

Took his class over the summer, he is really nice and loves answering questions. The tests are exactly what you learn in class and studying is a must. I had an 88 and he bumped it to an A for me.

Mr. Robinson is a good person but his lectures are boring and he just take a lot no to many interactions in class. You just sit there and watch him talk. You really have to create your own notes And teach yourself!

He is a great guy outside of the lecture but, it's hard to engage yourself in his lectures. He doesn't use any powerpoint or anything while he teaches so you basically have to take notes yourself and also re read the chapter after class. If you are good at teaching yourself from a textbook then he is a fine professor.

honestly ruined psychology for me and im a psych major... yeah. hes super boring and dry when he talks. i basically had to teach myself outta textbook. the only thing that is somewhat helpful that he gives us is a handout. i do not recommend him!

Here's some tips. Before taking the Test A, B or C do the practice test first at the Psychology Learning Center as some questions will be repeated between the tests. Also, be aware that this professor don't really explain strategically and sometimes he goes on talking to himself, but if you met him personally for some help he will be there for you.

Would absolutely not recommend taking psych with him. He teaches nothing and blabs on and on. I had to teach myself the material and if it weren't for the handouts he gives of terms I would not have passed.

Professor Robinson is the best professor I have had throughout college. He is by far the best professor. I have never had a professor that cared so much about there student's success. He really teaches because of his love for teaching.

I did not enjoy this class one bit. I'm very much iinterested in psychology, but this professor made this experience completely miserable. He just rambles and no lesson is actually thought. I regret my choice in this professor.

Phycology is very boring if you don't have an interest in it. I took him over the summer while in a crazy time of my life and ended up with a b. If you have time to teach your self out of the text book and study the study quide you'll do fine.
