Bruening is the absolute bomb diggity. If you want to understand accounting laugh your ass off through it, take him. The material is not easy - yet he will try his absolute best to chew it up and feed it to you as best as possible. Come ready to learn and pay attention, his info is usually copy and pasted onto the exams. Very warm and helpful.

Bill is definitely one of the best teachers I have ever had. He tries to make the class fun, jokes around, and really tries his best to help. Gives lots of opportunity to pass. Definitely take him, made a hard subject understandable.

He's a very nice and accommodating professor. He tries to help you pass in every way. He made the tests open book, gave extra credit, practice tests, and guides you through every problem. He teaches in a way where he doesn't try to embarrass anybody and does all the work himself. No homework. Test = vocab MC + acct short answers.

Bruening is a very smart man. He combats student apathy with sarcasm but its evident that he wants each and every student to not only pass, but to learn. You will actually learn and pass if you just apply yourself. Easy A.

Mr Bruening is an awesome teaher. most people take this class thinking it will be really easy and then they drop it. Its not easy bc u have to put in effort. This is college people, but Mr B is always there to help, so take it if you are willing to put in some work

I heard his tests were a lot like the study guide. The study guide actually hurt me because it was what I focused on, and not even close to the test. His multiple choice is just really difficult.

Rating is similar to 2/3/10. I'm a student who has a high GPA and like others, I checked this website prior to taking the class since I wanted an "easy" accounting teacher. To cut it short, he puts himself as a chill teacher but his tests aren't similar to the study guides anymore. I got an A in ACT 100 easily, but I struggled to get my C in 121.

He is probably the best accounting teacher around right now. His lectures are very important because he gives shortcuts on how to do the problems. He gives two midterms and a final which he prepares you ahead of time with his study guides that he hands out a week before the exams. Be careful with his tricky multiple choice questions in the exams.

Managerial went as smooth as financial. He won't teach you anything you won't see on the test or outside of the class. He'll take as much time to explain something as you need, and always keeps his lectures to reasonable time. His grading is kind of full or no credit on some questions, but he almost gives all the questions out b4 the test. take him

Not an easy "A." I have a very high GPA and his class brought me down some. I attend SF State and wanted to take Bill's class because I heard he is a good teacher. I think he is a great teacher. The calculations on his tests are similar to what he asks you to study...the multiple choice is purposefully tricky. Watch out.

Best teacher there is. Very easy to understand and very helpful. If you ask him for help he'll help you in any way he can. Pay attention in class and study for the 2 midterms and final and you'll get a good grade. Pay close attention to his true and false questions...they're usually all false except one or two.

Bill is one of the nicest teachers at skyline. He always tells you what is going to be on the test and most times gives you an answer key to 99% of the actual test days in advance. take him if you can, but expect a long waitlist.He also gets test grades back lightning fast. He's real down to earth, hope to take him for acct 131.

Oh what a blessing to everyone! The easiest to understand and makes sure that students go home understanding the topic. Gives extra guidance to all that needs help. Very approachable and gets the time to know you personally. Makes the class lively and gets students attention. If you are not so good in ACCT you should take his class.

Oh, Mr. Bruening is clearly intelligent. He's nice to everybody and they way he teaches accounting is as if he's teaching grade 1 students. It's good for my part since, I really want to understand accounting. Take his class. He'll dismiss the class earlier than you can imagine.

I didn't have him as a teacher, but if you're in an accounting class, then you'll spend a lot of time in the lab. Bill is extremely helpful with labs and he is willing to stay the extra 5 minutes if you need it. If you have questions about accounting, I highly recommend you go to the lab for help.

he's cool but not so great of a teacher. when u ask questions he makes you feel stupid for asking but hey we are students and are here to learn. if you have a pretty solid foundation of accounting take him, if not i would recommend someone else.
