Comment:
Dr. King is one of the absolute worst professors I have ever taken in my life. She is utterly unclear in her expectations of her students and when asked for clarification she sidesteps and just adds to the confusion. She feels that clarifying any information is 'hand-holding' and will belittle you in front of others.

This is a very helpful professor! If you are struggling go to her for help right a way, and talk to her often! She cares about you, just make sure you go to class and put in lots of effort because HIST 2410 is no joke and neither is she.

His 2410 was a hard class, no doubt. I struggled the first half of the semester but once I started seeing Dr.King for help I was definitely doing better. She is really nice and genuinely cares about you especially if you put some effort in and show up to class. Although I was almost failing by the midterm, I managed to finish with a B (Thank God!)

Class was hard! Discussion were so so in class. She is absolutely brillant and knows her stuff. But be prepared to read thick irrelevent books just to be able to know some of the people that will be on the test. Her door is always open... but just just might take outside with you the same amount of understanding when you left!

This class is nearly impossible to get a good grade in. I've never spoke to a student that has gotten full credit on any assignment. Her lectures or unclear. She is very smart and well educated yet she teaches an intro class as if it is a graduate class. Respectable lady, horrible instructor. Don't take this class based on interest. She expects ent

She is not clear in her notes, lectures, or expectations of students. She requires very detailed desciptions and essays in test that count for large portions and are near impossible to get the full credit. She expects very much of students.

While she was consistant, she was not clear from the beginning of her expectations. Everything revolved around color and gender, specifically African-American women. It got boring only looking at history from that perspective.

Absolutely no logical structure to outlines or speech. Hard to follow. Expects very thorough and upper-level work even in an introductory class.

She's a bad lecturer, very boring, monotonous, and lectures aren't very clear. Thankfully her class is pretty easy to get an A in. She's not so bad. If you are into females in history and want an easy A, take her class.
