The teaching method that he uses is not the best! All he does is copy his notes on the board and gives out very vague answers as to how to answer the problems. He tells you to rely only on the math lab examples from the homework. If you're looking for guidance to understand math, do not enroll in this course!

Comment:

Not a very good teacher but is nice. If you are taking this class make sure to stay caught up with Math Lab. You only learn things through it. He doesn't teach very well. He just stands at the board and solves equations. If math is not your thing then don't take this class. You will only get frustrated. He isn't patient with questions.

He is SUCH a rude teacher. I had to leave 15 minutes early to pick up my sister for an appointment since she can't drive and had checked with him before hand if it was okay. He said it was, so I quietly left when I was supposed to. COme to find out he began saying I didn't care about my education once I walked out. Tests aren't like study guides.

Doesn't offer test corrections, or any opportunities for redemption if you did poorly his test. his class is all test so if you dont like to study or cant teach yourself dont take him. you don't know your grade till the end of the year so whether you failed is a mystery before its too late for you to register for your next class. highly disapointed

Prof Agoun class is tough, the study guides are not as helpful as they should be. He'll explain a Very simple example then give you a totally different question on the test. He doesn't teach, you just watch him work a simple problem then you're on your own for the tougher one. If you're good at math, take him. If u need all the help u can get, RUN!

Great teacher! No textbook necessary. He gives excellent notes and HW is done online all due at the end of semester. He gives a test guide but his tests are a little harder than the guide. Lots of extra credit available as well.

He stands at the board and just speaks, what he teaches is NOT EVER ON THE TEST, he does not help with questions and expects you to know everything. The book is not mandatory but it is then only helpful tool to help you in his class. He is NOT CLEAR at all about the math lab and what to do in it. You have to teach yourself in this class. DONT TAKE

Very good, this was my first college class I took Summer B. He is very good at explaining things and giving plenty of examples. There are 4 tests and a final, and gives study guides for all, usually worth extra points on the test which really helped. Easy if you study, I definitely recommend taking this class.

He is God awful! I was doing decent in Math until I took him. His tests are terrible and it's even worse if you want to try and get a hold of him for ANYTHING. I e-mailed him multiple times and never received an answer from him, ever. DO NOT TAKE.

He is such a great teacher. He is so funny and really nice. He is there to help his students and his teaching style is easy to understand. He breaks the problems down step by step. I'm not that good at math but he teaches the material in a way that, for me, was easy to understand.

He's funny and nice but it's hard to understand what he is saying sometimes. I do not recommend him, I had never failed a class in my life until this one. By the time I dropped it mostly more than half of the class had or was going to drop it too.

Tests are easy and similar to guide he hands out. Tests are short so wrong answers really count. No due dates for homework, get it done or not, its your grade. He extends due dates of mastery tests if you ask for it. Knows a lot about math and is good at teaching it. Easy Class

The professor is very nice and funny but he doesn't teach. He stands at the board and and you literaly watch him work the problems out, even the extra credit.Also, You have to go to evey test.He tells you thatif you miss a test the next test counts for two, what is misleading is that he does not explain thatit must be an excused absence.

Take him! He actually cares about your grades! Go to his office hours or after class and talk to him! He is very helpful and funny!! You don't need the book at all he gives excellent notes n study guide weeks before the test!! He gives extra credit on exams and on test days I was slow at taking tests n he was patient n gave me extra time to finish :) you can't miss class n you do have to study!!! I passed with a B n I'm not really good at math....

He is the best math teacher I ever had!!!! He is so helpful write down all of his notes and he will give you a study guide to review before your tests and he gives you extra credit points on your tests at times!! Just make sure to do good on the math lab and final exam it should pass his class!! Take advantage of his office hours or go for tutoring :D
