Dr. Haija was the worst teacher I have ever taken at this school. Nice guy but his accent is so thick you can barely understand him and he only has 2 test and then the final With little chance to get points elsewhere. If i could go back in time and do anything it would be to never take this professor wow was he bad.

Never took physics in my life- walked in dreading it and walked out sad that it was over. Haija is the most caring professor I've ever had and truly wants the best for his students. Show you care and he will make sure you get an A.

I had Dr. Haija for lab and I loved him! He is so funny and really wants you to succeed. He gives quizzes in lab that are not hard and is an easy grader. I look forward to taking him again for lab next semester

He offered to help during office hours, however when the time came he was no where to be found. He does not care about your grades unless you do. So work hard, also he does not curve. He also penalizes for missing class.

Dr. Haija is a very sweet man. He really cares about his students and wants us to all be successful. He is very helpful during his office hours and he will always go the extra mile to make sure that you understand the material. I have a lot of respect for him. Physics isn't easy, so you actually have to work for your grade and make an effort.

Dr. Haija is a great man and professor. He can be a little hard to understand sometimes, but overall he's clear about what he teaches. Don't be afraid to go to his office hours. He is always super helpful and takes notice that you are working hard in the class. Only 2 midterms and a final for his exams, so make sure you study to keep your grade up.

Dr. Haija was hands down the best professor I have ever had. I had never taken Physics before and felt that he really made an effort to help students if they were struggling. If you go to office hours regularly, he'll boost your grade up a letter. So sad i couldnt take him for PHYS112!

I had him for lab. He tries really hard to teach the class. The only problem with him is that he lectures you for a good half hour to hour and has a very thick accent. He cares alot!

Very good prof! Made things easy to understand and was willing to help any student with any problem. Going to class is very important because he goes over problems. Attend class and pay attention to problems and you will pass :)

EXTREMELY helpful. Goes well out of his way to help students understand physics. His lectures can sometimes lose you if you're not paying close, constant attention, but you can usually judge how well you know the material via the online homework. Even went so far as to open extra office hours for us. Really cares about students.

Great Professor. Understanding. Very helpful if you dont grasp some of the contents clearly. Willing to dicuss and modify grades on a test. Exams are moderately hard. Study, and you will be fine. Dont study - fail.

One of the best professors EVER. Dr. Haija has a wonderful, kind personality and is ALWAYS willing to help his students. He also does a great job of explaining the concepts so that you can understand him better. I suggest this professor to ANYONE needing to take trig-based physics. He is GREAT!

Really great person, good at teaching the subject matter. One of the few classes at this less than stellar university that I can actually enjoy going to and stay engaged. Tests are all work problems with formulas given. Go through all the homework problems and class problems and know how to do them and the exams are a breeze.
