ACCURATE REVIEW. Very smart professor, cares about students and their grades. I rated him a 4 in difficulty, but this is only in relation to other classes. You MUST study for tests and quizzes, but he gives out an exam from a previous year before each exam. Half of it will be on new exam. POP quizzes easy if you study 10 min before, IMPORTANT

He was a tough grader. The material is already difficult and he didnt make it any easier. He also treats young adults like we are in middle school by taking phones ( which should be prohibited) and calling them out. To me, it felt like I was in a classroom taught by a worn out 8th grade teacher and not a college professor. He also does pop quizzes

Had him Monday nights for a 3 hour course, which for the most part he managed to keep everyone's attention. Expect quiz every class, but these help boost your grade significantly. Exam questions were usually almost identical to exam review questions he passed out - study those. Drops like 8 of lowest quiz/hw grades. Would take again <3

This professor was a pretty cool dude sometimes. But most of the times it was about boring lectures. He makes the class way harder than it needs to be. He randomley calls out students to answer questions and if you can't answer he will put you on the spot and make you do something stupid like yelling out the answers. He also takes up cell phones.

Professor Nieswiadomy is a funny guy, and I enjoyed many lectures. He calls on students in the lecture class, I didn't like that but it motivates you to understand what's going on. Do not have your phone out at all, don't be the example at the start. Make sure you study, a lot of students try to pass with minimal effort. Good luck to them.

Never seen a professor in my college experience who goes above and beyond to care for his students. He replies to emails fairly quickly and is always available for questions. His lectures are a little monotonous, but if you do your reading before class, you'll be fine. Gives plenty of review opportunities for exams.

Professor N is an okay teacher, his class is EXTREMELY boring but its more the course rather than him I guess. He took my phone up the second day of class and I wasnt even on it. The topic is very hard to comprehend and I feel like he doesnt really try to make it more simple for the class. Okay professor, and the course is pretty dang hard...

Great prof. One of the 2 most intelligent professor I had throughout undergrad. He's tough- but really wants each and every student to succeed, not only in his class, but in general. Communicate with him. Go see him during office hours, it'll help.

He's a pretty alright professor but I guess his teaching style is not for me. He calls on people even if they aren't raising their hands and sometimes makes them write on the board. If that's not for you I would suggest taking Professor Harry Ellis. Other than that if you pay attention and read some of the work book you'll probably be fine.

My only complaint for this class was the number of pop quizzes (19!). While this is not an easy class, if you read and go to lectures you will be fine. Dr. Nieswiadomy is very knowledgeable and an experienced professor. There is virtually no wasted time while sitting in class, and he gives previous exams to help you study.

Nice guy, but a real stickler for the rules so don't mess around in his class. Phones disallowed, and don't sit in the front few rows if you don't want to be called on. If you are okay with these things he's a great teacher and a nice guy; you can tell he really cares about his students and whether on not the succeed. An easy A if you're willing.

Beware of the "POP" Quizzes that he will tell you about the class before. Great lecturer and even better mentor. Go to his office hours and you will PASS!

Great professor. He does give "pop" quizzes, but he gives them every class so it's not really a surprise. Go to his office hours he will literally walk you through problems. Read the book and pay attention in class. The late classes are tough but the class was only once a week so he did lecture every minute of the 2 1/2 hours.

Gives a lot of pop quizzes, pretty easy though if you even kind of pay attention or skim through the textbook (which was provided free for my class). Tests are decently difficult although he gives a generous curve for them.

This teacher was wonderful. He lays the grading criteria out at the beginning of the semester, so you know how much work to expect. He gives great examples on relating economics back into our everyday lives. Tests are a bit tough, but if you do everything, you can easily walk out of this class with an A

I will never understand why the reviews for him on this website are so positive. This was the worst class I had taken this semester. I gave up hope for my grade midway through. He loves to lecture, and the lectures typically exceeded allotted class time (Class was supposed to be from 6:30 to 9:20 PM). I survived, though, and you can too.

I've taken him for Law and Econ and Managerial Econ. He gives pop quizzes at least once a week, if not more. One of the best Econ professors at UNT.
