He is a really good professor. He is a bit of a hard grader, but everything is manageable. Talking to him during office hours or after class is always helpful and he always gives good feedback on essay drafts. Overall the class is interesting and it is a great class to improve your writing skills. He finds ways to make the class funny at points.

He is a really hard grader for the 116 level. However, in the end you'll end up with a way better grade than you assumed. I got C's and D's the entire semester and somehow ended up with a B+ He's the sweetest man ever though! I would definitely recommend his class to anyone!

This professor was my advisor for in between two cultures. Very intelligent! Uses a discussion based setting. It is important to come to class with notes and information to further the discussion or class will seem slow. Provides peer editing. Take advantage of this not many profs provide it. Read his comments on papers and do them. great person
