Comment:

Nice guy and does not expect a lot from you, but not a good teacher at all. The midterm and final are created by the department, not him, and we never learned about 1/4 of it. Plan on teaching yourself with the textbook. Lenient grader and curves but you're screwed when you take SPAN 2 with someone else! Took a month to grade midterms too.

He's the nicest man in the world! So funny, approachable, knowledgeable, and a realist. He's a bit unorganized at times, but nobody's perfect. He truly wants to see you succeed and does everything in his power to help you. As long as your show up and are willing to learn he will assist you. I'd take him again any day he's the best! Such a nice man!

If your a pretty girl you are getting an A but if you are a guy you're getting a B or C. Such a joke showing up to this class. I think he is a little schizophrenic too. The worst professor ever

Prof. Gonzalez-Leonard was my favorite professor last semester.. he was always happy, and he always spoke the truth. he did not teach the language, but rather the culture, which was very interesting. teaching basic spanish is not his forte, but teaching about culture would be a better class for him. however, i highly recommend him.

My Favorite Professor Ever. Warm, funny, engaging, approachable. Knows it is as important to teach the Culture and Courtesy as the Linguistics and Grammar. A Brilliant man. I loved him.

Professor Gonzalez is the best professor in languages @ Willy P! He's so nice and approachable and his classes are so fun, you don't want to leave. He gives tests and quizzes but they are all open book and part of the midterm is takehome which he counts more than the in class midterm exam. He always goes off topic but his stories are always good!

Great teacher and person. Learned alot and enjoyed going to class!! Mid terms are take home and he gives you every oppurtunity to get an "A" however it is not a mickey mouse course, he will supply the oppurtunities but you must pull your weight. Go to every class and your golden.
