Comment:

Assigns online homework which is helpful and although attendance isn't mandatory it does help your overall grade. He can be a bit confusing in class and tends to write stuff on the board which isn't very helpful. Only take him if you absolutely have to. Provides practice tests without answer sheets.

I love math but hes the worst professor at UNH. he didnt know how to answer certain questions in class and says you need to figure it out on your own. dont expect to get an answer on any of the questions you may have on the hw as he just gets mad and annoyed and doesnt answer you. do your self a favor and DONT TAKE HIS CLASS sure way to fail.

The only reason I got an A in this course is because I took it in high school and passed the AP Calc AB exam. I found his methods much more confusing than what I had previously learned. Sometimes I couldnt understand him. Do the online homework it helps your grade. The tests were not too bad. Just study old quizzes and your notes, youll be fine

He's angry that he ended up teaching at a small undergrad campus instead of doing great research somewhere else. He tends to take it out on the students; he's a harsh grader, he gets annoyed whenever anyone asks a question, and he's an awful communicator. He won't bend on due dates or test dates, but takes his time returning your work. Avoid!

Alright teacher. Hard to understand in class. Very structured. Not very flexible at all grading on tests/quizzes. If you get the answer right, but don't show your work absolutely perfect, you may see your 100 go to an 80.

Can't understand a word he says. He can't understand why you don't already understand everything. Lots of tests, and other than that the class is all lecture. Stay away. I got a C+ in this class only because I had cd's to watch and explain everything.

Not a bad person, but a bad teacher. He is difficult to understand, and therefore it is difficult to learn from him. Most students don't take him seriously and that also detracts from the learning experience. If I hadn't learned most of calc II in high school I probably would have wound up with a D or C in his class.

Not the best teacher, but definitely not the worst. The language barrier is slightly difficult to get past and he seems to only want things done his way, but if you get past that and just do the work it is very easy to give A's. If you struggle in math, however, I suggest another teacher, his usual response is to "try harder" and "spend more hours"

If you've already taken the same class in HS and are just repeating it because you placed there.. it should be easy. I took precalc in HS, I'm taking it again now with him, and I've gotten nothing lower than a 90 all semester. He can be very unclear at times, so having some knowledge already helps. A lot of quizzes, three tests, and a final.

This guy is one of the most horrible teachers on the face of the Earth. He grades horribly. His quizzes are mostly something like two questions and 50 points each. He can't teach at all. He takes off an unnecessary amount of points for the stupidest things.

He is a little hard to understand and is very confusing in his teaching. He will give a ton of unneeded examples on the easiest thing. He grades unfairly and only wants it done his way. You can have the right answer on a test/quiz/homework, but will mark it wrong if you did not do it his way.
