This has been my favourite course this semester. I'm not sure where some of those other comments came from but she was extremely organized and knowledgeable. Teaches things I actually want to learn unlike some of the other time-wasting lecturers. I wish I was studying at Dal for longer or I'd take all of her courses!

Brittan was quite helpful- giving feedback on essays, answering questions, etc- however, she was rather scatterbrained. For example, not posting something to be read by Tuesday morning until 10pm. Monday night. But overall, rad prof. Consider yourself warned, though- she's not trying to insult you, she's just v. sarcastic. But srsly, take Engl1020.

I found her unavailable and not completely committed to the class. I had no sense how of how I was doing in the class because assignments were not handed back in a timely fashion. Her feedback was unclear and there was no direction on how to improve. Generally disliked the class in general though ? would not take another class with her.

This class made me want to take others in English. Her passion for what she was reading allowed the student to escape with her on her journey. I looked forward to each and every class.

Very soft voice. Don't take her morning classes, her voice will put you right to sleep. She's very nice if you need someone to talk about.

I love her insights into the books and articles we read. She is able to touch on a point about a book one would never really realize, and in the end it makes so much sense.
