This is a tough subject if you do not get acct, but she was a great professor and I hate that she retired. I would have loved to take another class with her. If she comes back to teaching then I highly recommend.

This is the worst professor I have ever had. She does not teach, only reads notes from her power points. Very soft spoken and hard to understand, very kind, but thats not what she is there for. Im tired of teachers getting paid to do nothing,do your job and actually teach your subject. The test average for our class never got above 72, no curve

She is very awkward and gettin old so she speaks very softly. Her test are extremely hard and you must attend every class and do all the homework. She gives a quiz at least once a week. She doesnt let you bring your own scantrons or she will tear them up. Average exam grade can be a 59 and she still will not allow a curve. Find another professor.

She's a super nice professor. Really sweet. She has a sort of an awkward sense of humor but it's so funny. I've never heard her yell at anyone. her "nervousness" I think is just her personality. But overall, hard Intermediate 1 and 2. Do you work. She'll guide you but if you wanna pass, you better do the exercises like 12 times.

Awesome Professor! Test are long and Hard. she gives quizzes weekly which are pretty easy and come straight form the book. The material is hard but she really explains and makes it easier to understand. Got an A in intermediate 1 and i took her.

Breaking news: Intermed Acct is hard. I took her class the Fall 2012 semester and got an A, but I had to work my butt off. Don't miss class. Really focus on working the class exercises--then do them again. She gives 4 exams & a required comprehensive final-it counts on its own & can replace 1 of the 4 exams if it's higher. Her teaching style can be a little scattered, but she's friendly so you can ask her questions during/after class. Her tests are straight forward if you study. I recommend her.

I wouldn't take her again. She always had trouble explaining problems to the class. she would get confused on her note taking which made it confusing for everyone else. Test are pretty hard so if you need someone that explain things well i wouldn't take her.

She really is a nice lady and will answer any question you have. Sometimes, her answers do not make any sense but if you don't understand the material she'll explain it more in detail. Grades really easily and likes when the class gets involved. Sweet lady.

Great Teacher! she does have some snap to her which can be taken as being mean, but she is actually really nice. Yes you need to show up to class not only b/c she takes attendance but b/c she thoroughly goes over every detail of what you need to know. Reviews are long and detailed but the Tests come straight from them. Take her and pay attention.

These posts are ridiculous. This professor was as hard as eating an apple pie. Really, how hard is it to eat an apple pie? As long as you put forth an EXPECTED effort, you will pass this class. However, if you insist on not showing up to class or not studying for the exams, then you might have to blame this professor for your rightful "D."

If you have a brain at all, do NOT listen to the comments post previous to mine. Ketchand is oh so easy. She makes everything so simple. Come to class. Do the work. If you don't like that, drop out and work at Dairy Queen. This is college, teachers (rightfully) expect that you will partake in the course. I had no problems with ACCT232.

Just like any other accounting class you have to keep up and come to class, but other than that she wasnt hard at all. She gives a lot of online assignments and quizes and some extra credit to bring your grade up. Not a blow off class!!
