I did the ESTs class. The long readings wouldn't be so annoying if you didn't have to write a summary for every single one and take a quiz on every single one. Dr. Holtzworth-Munroe is very knowledgeable and experienced but she's also sort of intense and super critical. Not a bad teacher and the material is interesting, but the work is a pain.

Wonderful professor. Incredibly knowledgeable. You must put forth effort to do well in the class, but it will be worth it. I highly recommend the professor as well as the course. Great if you are considering graduate studies.

Great professor and class. Very knowledgeable. Willing to help. She will push you to work and learn, but you will come out of the class with a much better understanding about psychology and research. I highly recommend her.

I really liked this class. There is extra credit for every class you attend which adds up like crazy. I didn't even go too often, but i still turned my 83 into an 87 for my final grade. I would try to not buy the textbook and just study her notes packet. Pretty much everything is from her own notes. She is a pretty good teacher and not that hard.

Very difficult class. I never have trouble in any of my psch classes but had to drop hers. Exams are everything and she doesn't tell you what will be on them so you have to go through the tons of information in preparation for the exam. There are other, much better professors teaching this class

Very clear and informative lectures. Gives an especially intrigueing and insightful glimpse into the world of marital violence (by teaching about it). I learned SO much about pathology!

She is very straightforward with what you need to know for tests. It's easy to do well in this class. She also gives students extra credit every day just for going to class.
