Professor Taylor was by far my best teacher so far! The only reason I gave her a "3" for easiness is because I was prepared; that made the class much easier! She's a fair grader, and very helpful! I even elected to have her as my advisor. If you're a history major, history buff, or even if you're not, take a class with Dr. Taylor!

Excellent professor, you can tell she is passionate about history. Very energetic and covers all material well. Midterm, final, 2 essays and attendance make up your grade.She is a hard but fair grader, you really need to focus, study and write 2 good essays to get an A. I would recommend her.

Great teacher. She provided lots of great outlines to help organize materials and there were a couple of papers on primary sources that were actually very interesting to write. I'd recommend this course with her to anyone looking for their gen. ed. history.

She is not an easy professor. If you work yourself to the bone, you will begin to understand her themes and the course will become very clear. If you are an American history major, TAKE HER. You will love her. She is open minded to students' opinions and will bend over backwards to help a student. I am truly sad that she will be in D.C. for a year.

Prof. Taylor is an amazing teacher. Her use of media during class flushes out a third dimension that I come to miss in lectures from other professors. She's smart, passionate, and highly approachable. Take her class, you will love it.
