well he is the most unhelpful and inconsiderate person. As a prof there is no reason why his ego should be so huge because the effort he puts in to anything are minimal. I know he is a big name, but someone needs to ask: really does this man actually teach, is he respected by his students and peers or just feared because of his reputation.

Comment:

Good subject matter! Unfortunately, Dr. Swaminathan covers little in his class. I do not know whether this is due to ignorance or apathy on his part. Most of the learning comes from the readings. Students teach a bulk of the lectures.
