Favorite professor so far. His class is extremely difficult and time consuming, but if you have an interest in the field you it is extremely rewarding because of how much you learn. His grading system rewards hard work. It's a shame he's RETIRING, but I feel privileged to have been a part of his last class.

Buck is a hard prof and the material is by no means easy but if you work hard you can do well in the class. Definitely go to him for help if you need it. He definitely likes people who are clearly trying hard.

Dr. Buck is the best teacher I've ever had. His style ensures that only serious students will be around after the last day to withdraw. 350 words are too few to extol his virtues, urge you to take the class if you're serious about economics, and to warn you that there is ALOT of work, but none of it is wasted.

The class is very rigorous and includes many difficult topics that require you to study hard to understand. Dr.Buck explains everything in depth sometimes going into topics that are outside the required background knowledge. All in all, Very tough class that requires good study habits but you will learn a great deal if you work hard.

i never missed a qustion whenever he asked but i ended up getting D in participation even though my grades in exams were above average, I got a C in this class.I don't recomend at all.

For the amount of effort I put into this class, I am very disappointed. I got an easy A and learned more in Macroeconomics my first semester at college. I took Buck, struggled, and did not learn very much. I do not recommend.

Prof. Buck is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is extremely hard but gets you more in depth than anyone else. Go to class and do the homeworks as a group or you will be hopelessly lost.

Did not enjoy going to this class. First test was impossible while subsequent tests where pathetically easy. Used his own website and did not use blackboard. Very arrogant but will try to throw in a few jokes every now and then. Barely used the textbook. Would not recommend this class to friends.

One of the smartest professors I've had. He goes above and beyond with the material, and knows how to make everything relevant. I was a little intimidated, but if you want to learn economics take it with Buck.

The best professor for economics without a doubt. I love his style, and a genius. I would reccomend the class for people who want to learn. I really like game theory that he taught us. Professor Buck rocks!!
