Professor Stark sometimes talks a lot but that makes the class goes by faster, you will need the textbook because if not he will complain. Just show up & have a positive attitude and participate in the class discussions and you'll pass. You can miss class but dont miss it too often. Overall he's a good professor and sometimes can be funny!!!!

Took him over the summer. Very easy A. Yes, his voice and stories may get out of control and unbearable after sometime, but he really means well. I would take him again.

There are 2 exams (2 parts,15 terms, you have to define 10 and give a classroom application, the 2nd part is to write 2 essays, he will give you an idea of one of the essays the week before test). Also a group power point,a journal and one paper to write. Write down everything on the blackboard,its prob on test.No break,no absentees but nice guy.

He's a pretty cool guy. Definitely knows his stuff.. does not refer to a book or notes EVER when teaching, however he does stay pretty close to every chapter in the book. Midterm and final, a presentation, and a paper. Very easy.

He has many stories, but uses them well to describe what the lesson is about. That's how I was able to remember information for exams. Overall, it's a good course and he will work with you. He's very understanding and knows what he's talking about. His classes are very long, sometimes no break.

I have him right now for Curriculum, Evaluation, and the Learner. He is one of the weirdest professors I've ever had!! In the beginning of the semester I just laughed all the time cuz I thought he was funny, but now I can't stand going to class. Completely pointless. The only reason I go to class is because I need to get a B- in this class!

What would Mrs. Dingledorf and Susie say? He's an okay teacher. Show up, take notes. You don't have to read if you take good notes. Two tests which he takes 15 out of 200 terms..seems terrible, not too bad..and 2 out of 4 essay.One Group Project-super easy and one paper.. Easy grader.

fragglerock comes to mind,tests are pretty easy, just study from the book, class lectures can get painful, he goes off on brutal tangents, show up and jus get thru it as it is a requirement for most educ. majors

Our last "assignment" was to hand in our portfolio so he could check it over. I gave it to him on a Thursday, and the next Tuesday it was still sitting in exactly the same spot on his bookcase where he threw it. He's doesn't care about the students or what you have to say. Don't take him!

I took him in a night course. I panicked because I thought his test would consist of 100s of terms. But if you pay attention during class descussion of the book you know which terms are going to be used the most. Always give class applications or importance and he will give you credit on exams. I thought he was great, but very repetetive.

Tells the same stories over and over again and half don't even sound true. Doesn't really teach the material as he goes off on tangents all the time. Assigns useless in-class group work so he can take a break and the exams are basically straight out of the book. He's easy overall, but the class is kinda boring.

Nice guy, talks too much, but he IS helpful provided you ask your questions right after class. A bit boring - just participate - it'll make your life easier. I think he grades based on whether he likes you or not. The books are boring as hell, but useful as far as the test go. The tests are definitions, and short essay. If you can't write, drop it.
