I was shocked to see any bad reviews for him. It seems as if they were in a different class. I thought he was a great. Super interesting, motivating, and helpful. I learned a lot and would easily take his courses again.

Only once did he leave the front of the room to help someone with an error in their code. We ended the semester having not learned encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism...yet we left early almost every night. I got next to nothing out of this class.

Very amazing professor! He knows his stuff very well. If you attend class and practice a lot outside of class, you should do fine. Not a lot of homework is assigned, so the course requires self-motivation. Finally, you need to come to him if you need help.

Not sure if the course number is right, but I really enjoyed this class. Certain parts were more difficult than others, but particularly when learning to embed javascript into html, the professor is extremely helpful. Don't be afraid to ask questions, not only is he helpful, but he's nice too!

Hard class but worth it, do your work and study. Lazy people will not do well. He is a good professor and cares about students, but the content is hard and you will work for your grade.

I was really worried about this class...it's HARD and all new for me!! He seems annoyed when questions are asked in class, and spends a lot of time stressing you out about the grading system. In the end I stuck with it and worked hard. It paid off!!

omg!! if you want to succeed in this class make sure you understand all before coming to class because you wont learn anything. I end up with an A, because i understood the concept of html/javascript (which is not easy keep that in mind). I would not recommend him.

Great lecturer about applied info systems in the "real world"....but that had nothing to do with the test material. Basically, it was an independent study class with a lecture. Not impressed.

Sometimes can make students not want to ask questions. Makes them feel like their questions are stupid.

Right now..I am in the object oreinted class, and he is terrible, no one in the classroom understands what it goin on. Students have treid to go to him, and he is never there in his office, and he posted bogus resource center hours as well. ONe day I went looking for the lab, and it was in the regular lab, and when i asked the person behind the desk for the person who is a tutor or what not, he looked at me like I had a whole in my head! So good luck if you plan on taking him for Java...

Great teacher. Explains the programming process clearly. Gets in depth as to how things work. Offers lots of class time for review or open questions. Tries to interact with the class, but it turned out, i was the only one who talked back anyway :) A++

Tremendous professor. Makes course content very understandable by relating to real world examples. Cares very much about student learning and is an extremely intelligent individual. Highly recommended.
