Comment:

We need more professors like Becky at Oswego. She is so inspirational and friendly and really down to earth. She wants students to feel confident and succeed in her class. You do have to take notes. Textbook is helpful but honestly I used it once. Study your notes and you'll pass no problem. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. She makes material easy to understand.

I love Becky! She's an AMAZING professor. Her stories are relevant to the class, and those who say she boasts about her degree are just wrong. She wants you to know she's credible and does her research. Her course does go hand in and with bio and what she says is accurate. Lectures are LONG, but keeps class interesting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

She is an amazingly engaging professor. Her classes do seem lengthy with her lecturing pretty much the entire class period. However, her energy and enthusiasm makes it more than bearable, actually very enjoyable.

Professor B is wild. Really with it, down to earth, but can be pretentious at times (always mentions that she has a PhD). She is so funny that it hurts. Goes off on too many side tangents tho. DOES NOT put slides up on BB which SUCKS so take notes. Textbook was v helpful. She is honestly very sweet and is there for you.

This class is a great class overall. Becky is an amazing professor, my favorite at Oswego yet (and I'm a senior). If you have the option to take a class with her do it! It may be challenging but she makes it interesting and worth your time.

Dr. Burch is great overall. She's clearly very knowledgeable and she's so entertaining that it's hard to not pay attention. However, she has a way of talking down to students in a rather insulting way that I find hard to handle, and she talks about herself so much that the material isn't always covered as well as it could be.

Becky's probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. I honestly look forward to her classes, and am upset when I can't make them. She'll help you as much as you need, her classes are always hilarious, fun, and interesting and the work load's not hard at all. Best. Professor. Ever.

Her classes are much less in-depth than they could be if she didn't go off on so many tangents. Also, if you're a bio minor or double major like me, you'll see she gets a LOT of things from biology completely wrong, and a lot of them are just completely irrelevant, so not only does it not apply to the course (time wasted) but it's incorrect too.

Professor Burch is the best teacher I've had at Oswego so far. She makes this class a lot of fun but you learn A LOT of information as well. I definitely want to take another class with her. SHE'S AWESOME!!!

AWESOME class! Dr Burch is amazing and explains everything so well! Take this class, you will absolutely love it. Read the notes and book and you will ace the tests; the papers are simple, just summarize cases. You learn why it taste funny to brush your teeth then drink oj, how you see, and many many other interesting things.

Tests were somewhat difficult multiple choice but the class was incredibly fun. You deff need the book, and I heard its an interesting one to read. I'd take it over again, but study hard. You spend the whole class taking notes from the screen, could be worse I guess. I hear in BioPsych she gives you the notes cause its so hard.

Great Prof! Take Human sexuality even if it messes with your major's classes. It's friggin amazing! Tests are something to study for, but the class is SO INTERESTING that you already are paying attention and taking notes! The only thing that kinda sucks is the constant notetaking off her notes, but whatever. This class is great and she fabulous!

Great teacher that I would recommend to any student, psych major or not. From the first to last day, prof. burch kept all her students interested in the material with jokes and humor. She knows how to relate to college students and has great stories about herself she tells to her students. The only crazy thing about the class are the pictures!
