I took the hybrid class, so there was a bit of homework, but everything she taught was comprehensive and clear. She helped a lot with misunderstandings in the papers we wrote. Very good professor, would take a class with her again.

I felt that she did ok with lecture, However she tends to make sarcastic remarks in class towards students. I Personally don't know how she is the head of the department of English and Communications. Didn't care for her or the class.

She is wonderful. Hard grader but you do thevwork and put the time and effort in then you will do well. Very srick when it comes to time in presentation.

Comment:

She was very inspirational and gave me great feedback. I am looking to take another class with her. She's one of the reasons I'm going to pursue a bacholers degree instead of just getting an assostiates. She's a little strict on grading; it's mostly grammatical though. She allows you to fix your mistakes and recieve half the points that you lost.

Love Mrs Evans. She gives a good amount of homework, and allows you to correct any assignment if you aren't happy with your score. She give time to answer all of your questions and has a great presonality.

Mrs. Evans has a great sense of humor, and is approachable. If you follow her schedule for papers, they are VERY simple to complete - some students just do not do any work and then complain at the end of class. Weekly grammar review is quick but thorough, and her classroom has a nice laid-back feel. Allows you to correct papers to gain half points.

English 101 was a pretty basic class. With that said, Mrs. Evan's was often sarcastic and dismissive. I learned little to nothing in this class. It was pretty easy if you put the work in. On a positive note she seems sort of passionate about her class. There is a pdf of the book online for people who can't afford it. Look it upp.

Great teacher, one of my favorites! I took the hybrid and you just have to post 2 forums and 1 assignment each week! Very general COM class. Would take again in a heart beat. There are 3 speeches you will need to make in front of the class, 2 papers and 1 group project.

Becky is fabulous. It'd be safe to say she's one of the best professors, if not THE best, I've ever had. I really enjoyed her class. She's as sweet as can be, but don't be late or get on her bad side!

She was pretty clear and the work load wasn't bad but if you expect to get higher than a B on a paper dream again. No matter what I did, even after frequent trips to the writing center and many peer reviews, her grading was relentless. I would not recommend.

a very good teacher. she's funny and smart.a lot of homework,but its pretty easy. six papers are expected during term, so you'll be busy. Ms. Evans does a great job preparing you for the last paper. theres a lot of grammer and a lot of in class work, if you show up to class every day and work hard, than theres no reason why you shouldn't get a A.

As most people do, you find a great professor - you take their other classes. I've taken both her ENG 101 and COM 101 class and both were AMAZING. The effort she puts into teaching is incredible and her way of communicating to her students is highly relatable and current. Simply great!
