I went to private school where she taught, not the community college. She went back on nearly every assignment when she knew the restrictions of the school, disrespected students and even made a girl do the "angry cockroach" where you lay on your back with arms and legs straight up in our uniform skirt. Dispicable, an absolutely terrible woman.

Technical Writing: Online Class. Online class was not guided at all almost. No one knew what was going on, she took forever to respond to emails and her responses are often useless. I had to go to the physical class to understand anything. We learned nothing about writing in this class. Oh and her assignments are vauge, pointless, and unexplained.

This is an online class. She never responds to e-mails until a day before the due date(which she is very inflexible about). A lot of assignment parameters are not clear. THe class is hard, oh yes, but I wouldn't complain if she was just a tad more accessible.

I work really hard in her class, and get nothing back. She goes back on her word and is hard to understand what she really means. She is the least helpful professor I have had in all my classes. Her communication with her students online is inadequate and takes to long to respond to them. Bad class, bad teacher!

I'm in a dual enrollment online class with her and it is horrible.I was excited before starting this class because I thought I was going to learn and study great techniques of writing. Now, being almost done with the course, I feel like I have not learned anything. In class we are told to do something without being told how to do it.

First of all... she is not helpful, and although she does expect a lot from us, she makes it impossible for us to understand her. I was ready for the work load... she's not ready to teach. So don't tell anyone to step down if they're not ready... apparently my high school teachers are inadequate in her eyes as well. Waste of time, horrible teacher.

Not sure where to start...she seems very nice as a person but as a teacher, having her in an online class reminded me a lot of what hell would be like. She doesn't answer questions, doesn't respond to emails until far past due dates, and doesn't listen period. She tries to make her students feel stupid to make herself feel smart...in my opinion.

She is not helpful. I have learned nothing from this class. She claims that she is here to help us bridge the gap from high school to college writing, but I feel that I have learned nothing. I feel that I have wasted my money from this class. I do not think she is a good teacher at all. She is very slow with email response for the online class.

This professor was not very helpful in my online class. I continually emailed her for help with the class and continued to put me down. Because of technical issues, I was not able to complete some assignments or view certain pages. She did not understand and started fighting with me about responsibility. She does not possess good teacher qualities.

Beth is an amazing professor plain and simple. She isnt easy but she is fun, upbeat, down to earth and very cool. She is a totally awesome person and knows a lot about what she teaches.She is also VERY approchable. If you are looking for an easy professor run away,if you want to learn take a class Beth teaches. AND Dont judge a book by its cover!!!

sounds like some others need anger management instead of english. anyway, Beth is great. i've never gotten to know my fellow classmates as well as i did in her class. She's very down to earth.she doesn't treat her students like 1st graders, but she expects a lot, as it should be in a college english course. do what's expected, and you'll be fine.
