I really enjoyed Professor Klooster's class. The readings he assigns can be long, but they're manageable, and always very interesting. I really appreciate how he allows classes to be driven by student discussion, and how he makes his expectations for assignments clear , as opposed to professors who base grades on only a few things

Professor Klooster was an okay professor, there is a lot of reading in the begging of the semester, but he is pretty laid back with his work. He is also very brutal with the comments on your work, but it's somewhat helpful.

He was kinda boring. He rambled on with his lectures and would almost never right a single thing on his chalk board. Make sure to read the textbook if you take this class. You'll need it because you definitely won't learn enough from him if you only listen to his lectures.

Wim Klooster is an excellent professor. His lectures are interesting, well organized, scattered with cool stories and amusing anecdotes. He is extremely helpful and wants his students to succeed. Each course I took with him was excellent. Take a course with him before you graduate- I learned a ton and never found myself stressed out!

Klooster is the coolest. Although he may sometimes seem serious, he definitely has a good sense of humor. His lectures can feel long, but if you like history than you will appreciate all the little anecdotes that he scatters throughout his them. Showing up to class is important, because he generally covers the questions on the midterms in them.

klooster is a brilliant man, very smart full of knowledge. Gives long lectures, prepare to write. Don't worry about reading all the material because class notes are what count. Don't miss class because you'll miss loads of information. Not a lot of work.

Nice enough guy - brilliant. Lectures without notes sometimes and can remember the most obscure dates and people. Is a little bit tough with the grading of some work - despite my less than stellar grades on the midterm, however, I managed to get a good grade in the class. Overall, he's pretty cool.

All he does is lecture so it can get boring, but it's a pretty easy class. He gives you all the questions that are going to be on the two tests beforehand. There's also an optional paper if you don't test well, but it's probably not needed, as he is a pretty easy grader. He seems serious, but sometimes you can see his spritely humor come through.

If you are an Undergrad and are planning on being a history or Social Studies teacher, then you should definitely take some classes with Klooster. He passes on so much knowledge to you so that when it comes time to take the test it is much easier. Best history professor at Clark.

Great if you like history, dont take a class with him just for your HP. When he's lecturing try and imagine scenes from Indiana Jones movies when Harrison Ford/Dr. Jones is lecturing, and i guarantee you will laugh so hard you will have to leave class

Really attractive man, and one of the smartest professors I've had at this school. He can talk about history for hours straight without even refering to his notes. Take a focused class with him, not a broad one or else things can become boring.

A very smart man. He knows 4 or 5 languages fluently, and all the information he throws out there is amazing for one man to know. He is also very understanding, nice, and you can tell he loves what he's doing. Definitely worth taking a class with him.
