Professor Walker is an overall tough grader on all of the homework and essays that are assigned. She does not like to receive papers submitted online, she asks for everyone to submit work in class on or before the due date. She does care very much for each student and tries to help as much as she can but she is a very very very tough grader.

I feel like overall professor Walker will be nice to you if you do your work. If you don't read what you need to and go to class then good luck. She was a very tough grader. I remember seeing red pen ink all over my essays ._. I would not take her again.

I did learn in this class but throughout the semester she's constantly sarcastic. I felt uncomfortable asking questions because she comes back with a rude answer/comment. I think she is used to talking down to young students and doesn't realize that older adults are in the classroom as well.

Mrs. Walker is a great professor! If you actually want to learn take her because she will work your butt off, but it is worth it! She is really funny, and only had about 1 boring class lecture throughout the 5 weeks I had her. Highly recommend!

Ms Walker is very strict about class work but is very helpful. Funny, too. Gives lots of notes, but if you MEMORIZE them you will ace all of your tests. Show up to class and be ready to participate because there will be lots of class discussions. She is strict but keeps the class enjoyable.

BRUTAL!! you will not make an A.She expects excellence and perfection, fun class she keeps your attention, but likes to hand out insults and belittling comments. She knows her stuff and is a true professor, if you want to learn the right way this is the class, if you want the easy A skip her.

I do not recommend this professor for some one that has a life and a job. She is very anal about grading and she has a lot of pet peeves. I was a good writer in high school and the highest grade i got was a 70 on one of my papers.

Very good teacher, really makes you a better writer. However, i put in an immense amount of effort into my 10 page research paper, and recieved a 67 (i made As on all the other papers) it was rediculous because she hardly counted off for anything in the actual paper, just for my notes, outline, and format. a 67 for bad format? i hate her.

I love Ms. Walker. She was a great teacher. She hardly has any tests. Her class was based on notes and essays. I procrastinated on all my essays and still manage to get a B. She loved me as a duall credit student. She likes it if you participate in class. So my advice, kiss some butt and participate.

We started with 25+ people;by the end we were around 10.I turned in every single thing and still got a B. just a couple of As on the class.She's very hard;even said it herself "i've only given one A" for a research paper.I put a lot of effort and still got a B.in addition,expect her to point you out in front of the class if you dont know something!

She is soo hard!! yes i learned some things from her, but she grades on every single thing, like you HAVE to have your margins perfect and that sort of thing. she just expects every paper you write to be perfect. Also she has a bad attitude, she makes you afraid to ask questions cause she makes you feel like an idiot. i do not recommend her at all!
