You would assume that you would be able to easily understand a communications prof, but this isn't the case. He's hard to understand because his accent is so thick. Other than that, there is a lot of information that is needed to know for the exams, but weekly quizzes are helpful. Lectures drag on and are very boring.

This class was my easiest A if you read all the chapters, if not, his lectures will help adequately. He's a nice guy who tries to joke around. Class is not mandatory, though he gets offended if you leave early. Plenty of extra credit, easy exams and open note online quizzes.

Overall C101 wasn't a bad class, but the lectures were very long and drawn out, which resulted in them being boring. 2 Essays are required, but they aren't bad. Weekly quizzes help you if you are not a good test taker. 4 Tests, takes the best 3 of the 4 (final is the 4th test). Textbook is heaviy used.

He was very helpful with every aspect of the class. Due dates on assignments were pretty flexible too. If you needed an extra day or two he just had you e-mail it to him. Only bad thing was sometimes there would be multiple assignments going on at once and it got confusing as to what concepts applied to which assignments. Overall he was good.

The exams ask you bogus questions. I would study forever for one exam and get the same grade on another exam that I didn't study for. The class is not hard to get a B in its just the exams are bogus.

He is not a tough teacher the class itself is pretty hard because there is a lot of information to remember. attendance isnt mandatory but highly recommened. take all the notes and do all the quizes and essays. there is a lot extra cerdit so that helps

Basically this is just an easy GEC class. If you can average 3 B's on the tests and do all the Carmen quizzes, 2-3 papers, and complete the extra credit surveys you can get an A- and not take the final.

Prof. David is the Man....his lecture isnt as bad as people say, and he is very dedicated to keeping you informed on CARMEN and there is plenty of extra credit to make up for poor quiz scores

Easy class. All exams are about 90% from book and 10% from lecture. The info that is on the pp slides are also in book, but he will test you on the ADDITIONAL info that is only in the book. You are better off to read ALL chapters along with the pp slides, and fill in the extra info yourself. Does not test on #'s. Good Prof, take him.

This class was easy. People complain about boring lectures, but I don't think there is much you can do to really 'spice up' the material we had to learn. And he does try to make it a little more interesting. Mr. David is extremely sincere and does try to make the exam grades fair. I would recommend his class as an easy grade and a caring professor.

this guy is so boring, you will hate coming to class. he keeps you there for the maximum amount of time, even though you shouldnt have to spend more than 20 minutes going overthe stuff. easy if you go to class. but easier if you can stay awake.

Comm 101 is your basic intro class. Important: 1. Go to class. The video clips are relevant and important on exams. 2. Read the textbook. Simple read and questions from the exam will be based on it. Prabu is a genuine guy. Very helpful and down to earth.
