Comment:
Bob makes the content very easy to follow, and is more than willing to help if you need it. The assignments tend to be very easy and require only one or two hours of work for the longest assignments. The textbook isn't great, but Bob goes over most of the material in class, so reading it is optional. It is needed for homework assignments though.

The material in this class is extremely complicated; Luckily Bob doesn?t make the exams very hard. Bob misses class at least once a month. Teaching style makes it hard to pay attention, I found myself falling asleep listening to him. Fortunately class isn?t really important, I can learn out the book easier.

I think he's making this class much easier. I took this class last semester and about 45-50% of the class received an A which means the class isn't too hard. Compared to other prgmming classes this class doesn't go in-depth so you wouldn't learn as much but I'd say if you want to get a good grade and get over with prgmming class, take this class.

Let me say this about programming: either you get it, and logic makes perfect sense to you, or you don't get it and you probably never will. If you're the former, 251 will be one of the easiest classes you ever take. If you're not...well, look at the other ratings. The website was incredibly useful for doing homework.

Rude. Arrogant. Won't help (but puts on a front like he will). His TA's aren't even ALLOWED to help you. I pity any one else who must follow in taking this class. He lectures with the lights off and the lectures are dry. The guy seriously needs to be fired.

Bob is pretty cool guy. His tests are confusing, but not too bad. He is the only prof that I saw at the bars and had drinks with. Really helpful if you actually engage with him after class

Robert "Biker Bob" Warnick is great. He may seem rough around the edges, but is a firm believer in hard work, honesty, and integrity. At the root of this class, that is what he teaches. If you're familiar with computers and have character, show up and the class will be easy for you. Bob will show you perspectives you may have missed before in CPTS.

Biker bob is cool. When I took his class, (Years ago.) His first words to the class were, "I am writing my phone numbers on the board. Call me anytime, except weekends, that's when I am drinking and playing with my handguns."

I thought that Professor Warnick's teaching methods were hard to follow and confusing. I had to get tutored by a compture engineering major to get through this class. The tutor made the course material easy to understand, as it is not that complicated. There is a helpful website for the course.

Ok, either he likes you or not. He's cool. Don't lie to him, just tell him you had hang over so you couldn't do your stuff. I highly recommand his class but you have to study a little bit and spend time. Talk to him once per week and make sure he learns your name.
