I took him for both 331 Shakespeare and 364 Reading Film. He was dull in the Shakespeare class but not bad. Reading Film was amazing. His midterm and finals were inspiring as I could think of paragraphs for every question he asked.

Took him twice hated both classes. He focuses only on your tests grades in order to give you a final grade and gives no chance of extra credit. Lectures are boring and he goes over each book page by page which takes forever. Even when you go to class and study he still grades tests hard but doesn't give any reasoning for taking points off.

He's awesome in class. I'm was not a Shakespeare fan but this class helped. His lectures are interesting. If you miss one, you will be confused. However, he is awkward one on one. He seems to be uncomfortable when conversing outside of class time but it's not personal. So if you have a question, ask over Email or in class.

Greenburg is approachable and very clear when he lectures. He goes over the readings thoroughly, so you may not have to read them very closely since he'll explain it during class. He tries to make the material interesting and accessible.

This was a 2-week intensive writing course for creative writing fiction. It was an amazing workshop-like experience and I would take it again in a heartbeat. He was fun-loving, easy to listen to, and explained what was needed without getting in the way of your art. There was no textbook, just some handout, which we read. Take this class!! <3

He is a stand up guy. He knows his stuff and is creative as a teacher. He grades fairly and doesn't load up on reading. He asks his students to do a fair amount of work. I think you will enjoy him.

Dr.Greenburg knows what he's talking about and makes sure the student does, as well. I'm about to take my 3rd class with him. He's very approachable and give comments on papers and tests that help you to understand what he wants in the future. Very fair grader. Interesting lectures.

His lectures are disorganized like he's making it up along the way. Almost always disagrees with students when they give their interpretations on readings. I'm aware that he's the prof. But isn't literature about interpretation and ones own take on it. Not just one set answer? He just says "No, I don't think so" and just says what he thinks.

I'm tired of people complaining about hard work. First of all it's 300 level class and it is college. Okay, first of all he is one of the best professor's I've had at Northeastern. I've had three classes with him and he is extremely knowledgeable about his core subjects. He actually helps you improve your writing and allows discourse.

To be completely truthful i took him for a 300 level shakespeare class last summer. How in world i thought I could get through the material in such a short amount of time? He as a teacher was extremely helpful but as a man, well I never took another class, I think I still have a crush on him to this day...

Outstanding. Knows his stuff. Very easy to talk to, very available to students. Funny, approachable, encourages discussion. Willing to think about his material in new ways if a student brings a creative viewpoint into the room. Papers can be difficult, but he is helpful and fair if you make an effort to ask for help. Super guy.

He is fantastic. His comments don't make anyone feel dumb, he expects a lot from students that are in 300 level class. He loves what he teaches and he is very attractive.

What are these people talking about? He is NOT easy, not cute and he grades unfairly. When he puts comments on your exam and papers, he makes you feel dumb instead of writing critical help.

I find Professor Greenburg very interesting & informative. He is smart & keeps you engaged. Someone wrote he is boring, I disagree and find him very passionate about his art. He's a good teacher age isn't a factor; the negative comments are probably by people who didn't read or go to his class. Do the work & you will be fine.THINK

You will get what you put into the classes. This guy loves and knows his stuff. Can be helpful, brush up on your vocabulary for this class. Greenburg has a vast vocab and uses it, so if you are bored it is probably over your head or you are not reading these glorious fun filled works or getting the profs jokes.
