She is a gem. She gives a ton of extra credit opportunities, her exams are a bit wordy but definitely doable. A few assignments and a final group project, but they aren't hard and she is an easy grader. She loves Penn State. I found the info pretty interesting. No textbook, only online materials that you don't really need. I would take her again

Prof. Todd is a decent professor but her test questions are very wordy and confusing. The test average are usually within the low B's. She takes attendance every class and allows up to 4 absences. There are 5 writing assignments throughout the semester that are worth 20 points each that are not very time consuming.

Exams were the toughest part of the class, because it was based on the textbook, which we did not use. I recommend buying the textbook if you plan on getting a passing grade. Attendance is required, because she uses a ticket system, but do not bother writing or printing notes. Just read the book.

she wants everyone to succeed, sometimes her lectures are a little fuzzy but just pay attention to the powerpoints, write down the key things she tells you to write down and read the book if you want extra help. this is very easy for those of us with marketing brains. she's also very generous when it comes to curving.

Todd is nice professor, but her lectures are very boring. She requires 2 projects, one of which requires you to go door-to-door and collect money for juvenile diabetes. Exams are decent (low B class averages). She doesn't offer a lot of extra credit.

not a very good class. All freshman need to take a seminar, but i recommend a different teacher. The assignments are easy, but you have several a week and is by far my most time consuming class even though its 1 credit. I got an A but required doing all the work which was a pain. Shes also not a very good teacher and doesnt explain well.

DO NOT take todd for 450w. you have roughly 2 3-5 page case studies due each WEEK. She does not read the cases until right before the class when they are due, so going to office hours for help is useless. It is almost impossible to get the correct calculations. I have made deans list every semester and am a 3.7 student. Take my advice for your sake

C.Todd is amazing! I have now had her for 3 semesters. The exams and projects were challenging and time consuming. I don't know why students are complaining about her love of PSU football, it really shows that she is a down-to-earth person that cares for her students. Lectures are pretty dry, but I learned a lot!

She is a great professor. She LOVES her Penn State football and uses that to relate to the students, but she loves to teach. Her grading for the first year seminar is very generous - if you do the work you will get an A. Overall, she is one of the better teachers I have had during my first semester at PSU!

Horrible instructor...lectures were useless because they were never about anything relevant, just about she & her husband & they're football obsession. Projects and presentation assignments were graded completely unfairly. Exams were tough since she never actually taught anything then expected you to know it.

I had Carolyn for Consumer Behavior.. the lectures were sometimes boring and the tests were difficult-- some questions are paragraphs long. The projects she assigns take up a lot of time, but if you do well on them and show up for class, you'll do great. She also gives many opportunities for extra credit.

Consumer Behavior? Might as well have been called "College Football Fandom Stories and Gambling Strategies." At least three of the classes were slideshows of college football travels thinly veiled with marketing vocab. Projects are not challenging and only a bit interesting, but packed together. Easy but very boring and slow paced, disappointed me.

Very nice lady, class is required for all freshman, so since you have to take it, I would recommend her. She's not the most interesting person, but the class is easy and I got 100% on every assignment I turned in, even if I didn't try my hardest. Easy A with her, she's sweet.

WORST professor and class i have ever had at psu. todd is the most boring person i have ever come in contact with, and i learned nothing from her class. it sucks that she takes attendence because she reads straight from the book, and tells the same stories over and over. i would never take her again even if offered thousands of dollars.

This class is awful.....I gained nothing by taking this class, she simply reads the slides which she gets directly from the text book company. If she didn't take attendence there would be no point in going to class. If you are a marketing major take something else instead.

I got an A from her class.but My friend took PSU with another professor, and she has less work then what I did in Professor Todd's class. anyway, I think she really spends time before she teaches, she really cares about her student. I like her. you really can learn something from her.
