Definitely the best professor I had at Augustana, only Herr Weber came close. He saw any lack of understanding on a student's part as a challenge and an opportunity to teach, not as an impediment to "getting on with things". Always respectful of the students.

He would be a very talented programmer in some cubicle without anyone bothering him. However as a teacher, he can't relate to the learning it takes for students. He thinks in programming language and teaches his class like a robot. Nice guy, but boring and can't relate to students on a teacher/student level.

Everything was laid out in an easy way to understand, which is appreciated. He really knows cs - however, I feel that he struggles in actually teaching. The assignments, while easy, are not challenging and require no thinking; they are mostly repetition from examples in the book or from class. Easy basic class, but not challenging or stimulating fo

Great teacher. Very Very helpful outside of the class. I would go talk to him for almost every programming assignment I had trouble with, and he always helped.

It's been a long time since I was in Dr. Morrow's class, I'm pleased to see he's still teaching. Far and away my best professor at Augustana, clear explanations, patient with questions. After more than 25 years I still remember his name, his enthusiasm, and much of what he taught me.

Definitely an expert, but he's wonderful about explaining things. No matter what mistake you've just made, he'll calmly and politely correct it. RE the boring thing above: he isn't that animated, true, but he loves the subject. RE the 'looks like a squirrel': unfortunately, I can see the resemblance.

Nice guy, kind of boring and sort of reminds me of Mr. Burns, but pretty easy classes. He gives notes and examples that help with the programming assignments and tests are not bad
