Intro to neuro was an extremely hard core class. Would not recommend as a core. Lemley is one of the easier profs to take it with though. Lots of lectures. Be prepared to read a lot and study hard. Make sure to have a sciencey background before taking.

Made class very interesting. Taking notes AND using textbook is the way to go. Study with a partner and talk everything through and you'll be okay on tests. Tough class, but worth it! I learned a lot, and the topics were relevant to bio/psych

She is a very tough teacher, though is helpful. Probably best to take "Rocks for Jocks" for easy science. Do not think (as I did) that not having a lab with this class made it easier. Very perky, surprising that she is like 40 because she seems very energetic.
