Where do I start? This was the worst class I've ever taken. There was minimal effort on the instructors part to teach students. No lectures, just pictures of example problems with along with SOME of the math necessary to solve the problem. The amount of algebraic work she expects you to show is insulting. She may be good for MTH 20 but not Dynamics

Caring knowledgeable professor. she really wants you to succeed but at the same time to have to put in the work. Come to class participate and do the extra credit youll be fine. She also has after hours to help you. Gain wonderful teacher

Nonsensical chat and random information from lectures put into extra credit on quizes Loud music before class and during break Struggles to understand technology, so no phones allowed at all Syllabus has homework unreasonably separated onto another sheet. Charlotte is an insufferable teacher. Her syllabus and handouts are all printed in comic sans with heavy clip art. She plays loud music before class and during the break. She likes to get off topic and includes her stories and tangents on the tests. She has a bit of an attitude and if she doesn't like you she'll let you know. Steer clear from Behm.

Charlotte is great at providing resources to students who struggle with math. She has a very positive and caring attitude. Although she occasionally strays off topic on a random tangent, it provides a nice break from "math talk." If you struggle with math, Charlotte is a great teacher with a ton of experience in her subject.

Comment:

Charlotte was very sweet and hilarious. She works so hard to make extra math sheets, and reviews for the tests. She wants her students to succeed! She tries hard to make sure they do. If u study the review sheets, you will do fine on the tests,as long as you show your work. Thats it. The problems on the tests are almost identical to the reviews.

Charlotte is an awful teacher point blank. I am not kidding you when I say that daily she would have instances where she does not know what she is doing. She only wants the work done in only her way. She grades heavily on showing every step and she will basically fail you if you do not show any.

Cons, she uses the textbook in class but wont allow you to use an electronic device so you gotta pay the crazy price for a textbook. Pro's she will help you if your having trouble.

Made condescending remarks to students not doing work her way. If she sees phone usage, she takes points off test without saying. Clearly isn't familiar with material and makes CONSTANT mistakes on examples and tests. Insulting how much work she requires you to show at this level. Put Hello Kitty on HW sheets. A little busy work.

I think she may have been a great teacher at one point, but now she seems very burnt-out. Even though I had very real, very serious things going on with my life, Behm refused to be flexible on anything. To the point of absurdity. She also based a test question on her dietary preferences. Do not recommend.

Comment:

Funny and smart teacher who has an intuitive grasp of math, and is good at breaking down seemingly hard concepts and making them easy to understand. In addition to her office hours she comes to school on Saturdays to help any students who need it. She will dock your grade for missing class, so be careful. Show up, do your homework, and you'll pass.

Charlotte has the potential to be a wonderful teacher, her personal hangups cause her to be abusive toward students. Her behavior is unacceptable. I dropped her class 4 weeks in, transferred to the MRC, had to start all over but received an "A" doing it on my own. I do not recommend this teacher unless she has had therapy.

She had set office hours, and in addition to that she came in on her day off Every week to help students. She is passionate about math, and helping haters to succeed. I was very apprehensive. She believed in me, and she gave me all the tools to pass, all I needed to do was try. I got my first A in math, and it really wasn't so bad.

She is a super nice person, but a strict teacher. DO NOT have your phone out, she has a strict policy on this. She isn't too flexable with re-taking tests, so make sure you are there on time to take them. She talks about her personal life a lot, but she does make sure you understand the problems if you miss class too many times, you will not pass.

I've never been a big fan of math and on the first day she told us we better have a positive attitude or it would be hard to succeed. I've come into every class with an open mind and have never succeeded more. She's funny, creative and really knows what she's doing. I'll be taking another one of her classes for sure!

Stickler when it comes to grading, accomodates often with extra credit, can have an attitude, but is helpful, explains things well, and attendance is mandatory.. she switches up the activities and assignments so if you miss out or are late at all you may be completely out of a grade.
