If your major in any way involves theatre, I highly recommend that you take at least one class offered by Tom. He is an incredible Professor; his specialty seems to be helping you find layers to the character you never even considered. Any actor is sure to come out of his class a better one, and future teachers will learn new things as well.

It's hit or miss with him. At times he is incredibly passionate and very helpful. Other times he is scattered, arrogant, dismissive, or insensitive. In reality he is a very nice guy. His passion is Shakespeare, which he makes fun and understandable. He likes to play "games" which are either really really cool or just ridiculous.

I agree with the user that said his class was not helpful. He was full of himself, and recited his own acting creditably to us constantly. I dreaded going to class, because I came away without any useful knowledge. Let me just say that his method of teaching is definitely not for everyone.

Tom is the greatest teacher! Don't listen to that person who said he's full of himself because he's not. He's really fun and he even helped me get a job in houston as he has done for many other students! Take him, he's wonderful!

This is the second class I've had with Tom, and each time is so much fun. I feel that I have grown as an actor because of the critique he gives of our performances in class. There are methods to his madness, and it's kind of cool to see how they help the big picture. Highly reccommend this guy.

I know everyone loves him, but i thought he was full of himself. made certain to point out his abilities and successes and gave no credit to other styles of acting. really into "Game" playing rather than thought process. big disappointment, made me hate going to class. never take an actor for a teacher, they are too fond of attention to teach.

By far the best acting teacher I have EVER had, VERY passionate about what he does. His classes are always interesting, he has a way to make you see things differently then you normally would. Tom rocks!
