I had Dr. Fab for CMST 4000 (Im a CMST major) and could not have asked for a better professor. Ive been in and out of university since 1999 and she is my absolute favourite and believe me, Ive had a lot of professors. She cares about her students and is more than accommodating. Honesty goes a long way with her. Take her for any course you can!

Christina is hilarious. She has lived an extremely exciting life, and tells you the best stories. She is extremely clear in presenting the material, i just wasn't good at learning languages. Excellent prof

Took Italian classes with Dott. ssa Fabretto for fun as a returning student. Wasn't disappointed. Acknowledged students needs well. Made content interesting with personal stories. Provided clear course objectives and marked fairly. Very funny, personable, and knowledgeable.

Overall great elective to take. If you have a French background, this class will be an absolute breeze with minimal effort. She wastes a lot of time in class telling stories, but they are always enjoyable and about Italy and Italian culture, so not completely a waste of time! If you need an elective or just want a fun course, TAKE HER COURSE.

AMAZING! The Best!! Total entertainment and a fabulous teacher to boot! Wants you to do well. I did Italian 1000 and 1001 with her. Very intelligent lady. She keeps class fun and interesting. Encourages class participation. Very helpful and a fair marker. Learned lots in her classes and would highly recommend taking her class!

AMAZING! Christina Fabretto is an amazing prof! Waking up in the morning to catch her 9:00 class was actually enjoyable. Lectures were extremely entertaining!! I would love if ALL my courses were taught by her. Recommended that everyone attend her class at LEAST once!!

Take one very intelligent language professor, blend with stand up comedian and you get Christina Fabretto. You'll never forget her. This is the only 9am class that I've ever been excited to crawl out of bed to go to. An absolute delight! 5 stars! Two thumbs up! And the Oscar goes to...Christina Fabretto for Italian 1000!

Comment:
Teaches with spirit and enthusiaum, preparing for real life. Portraying not just the Ital language, but the essense of the Italian people. If you go to Italy, or anywhere in the world, language will not be a barrier as long as you can connect with the people. She uses humor and a positive attitude to make this course enjoyable-Highly recommend.
