Southern charm? Excuse me? That is probably the most hilarious statement I have ever heard. I'm not sure what these people are on about, but I can say for sure that this man was not a charming person whatsoever. I was in the MC scholars program, and I left the program. When it comes to papers if it isn't his style your paper is useless. Beware.

I genuinely look forward to his class. From his southern charm, to hilarious side notes, professor Collins never has a dull class. Classes are normally discussion based. He may seem like a tough grader to some but I think he's consistent and fair. You have to do all the readings to pass but at least you can participate in discussions and have fun!

Professor Collins is a fun time. He will really get you to think about assigned readings and wants students to dig deeper into meanings. You MUST read to do well, he will pop quiz you. He likes analogies and jokes whenever possible. Southern charm? Check. Watch grammar when writing for him and don't be afraid to draw your own conclusions from books

Professor Collins, was my toughest professor. We wrote a lot of essay like 10 maybe more (gives great feedback) make sure you keep up with homework. If your not going to take college serious HE IS NOT FOR YOU, very few people pass in my class. Teaches very good, i enjoy. He is also funny, cracks a few jokes here and there.

Really good professor.. Most of his class is discussion. He is very funny & helpful, but he is a hard grader. However I recommend him. Helped me improve a lot in my writing. Most of your grade is base on daily grades which are easy if you do the readings assigned. Do your best work & good luck!

He was good but not easy . The quizzes help with your overall grade. It was difficult to keep up with his style because he did not teach from the text most days. He is a fun person and we had great in class discussions. The papers are not easy and he is a hard grader. If you are not strong in English you will need a tutor when you take his class .

GOOD PROFESSOR. This prof is very hard grader, but very helpful. At the beguining u may struggle but be sure u will learn a lot u did not learn before. U will get confidence. He make everybody talk even though u are shy. Read when he asks to read bcz he gives quizzes on material and grammar. For the Out-class essays, see tutors before hand it up.GL
