Comment:

I think Dr. Berman is a nice professor but the class was confusing and unorganized at times. Sometimes it was difficult to determine what she wanted out of an assignment and when the assignments were due. The class mainly consisted of a couple papers and lots of participation in forums. The grading was fair. Overall, the class was alright.

Comment:

This is for Humanities Online on an intersession course. The course is totally achievable. As others have said, it is confusing and disorganized but if you have due dates written down you can do well. She does email "progress notes" throughout the intersession course and seems like an easy grader. I wouldn't take another online class with her.

sets vague deadline periods (example due 4th-8th) then grades you worse if you don't turn it in on the first day of the deadline period. Is very forgetful and will forget if you complete an assignment and will automatically give zero even if assignment is done. Doesn't really know how to use moodle either

Took Interpersonal communication with her online, it was just ok. She doesn't know how to use Moodle very well and because of this the course becomes disorganized in a sense. Not many projectstests, participating in forums is key. Not a fan, thankfully only class I need to take with her.

Comment:

A very nice professor, but a lot of the syllabus and other assignments were unclear. Class was not as organized as I had hoped, which made it uneasy. Assignments weren't too challenging, grading was fair, and material was interesting. A lot of personal learning for me. Took this for oral com. competency, which I thought would be better than Speech.

She is by far the best professor at BCC and she is also a really nice person. I am glad I had Dr Berman as my professor and I am forever thankful for the awesome recommendation letter she wrote for me when I was transferring to a different school.

This class didn't require much home time. She assigns readings but I barely read and I was able to complete material based on class material. Not too much in the way of note taking. Writing assignments are a breeze. The teacher is helpful. It's an incredibly profound class and you will leave a very different person.I got an A.

Very helpful teacher. I personally dropped the class due to work overload. She gives several assignments and readings. Make sure you would be ready for a full-time workload.

Constance is a wonderful professor. She is very invested in giving the students more confidence through their speeches. She is helpful is offering advice and reassurance following each presentation. The course is easy. If you are not a fan of public speeking, don't worry, you will feel confident by the end of the semester.

I don't sense any passion from her and much of the content is derived from the textbook but the book is very interesting and the class is easy. Just expect to ask other students questions about assignments because her answers are not very clear.
