Great prof! Really cares about her students and is passionate about helping them succeed. However, the class is a bit dry and the instructions aren't really that clear.

Amazing professor, really gets to know her students and tries to connect with students on breaks in order to get to know who they are outside of class time. Flexible when needing to meet, and will always answer your questions. There is quite a bit of course load and she doesn't mark them right away but is a fair marker and leaves room for improvmen

Dana is one of my favorite profs I've had yet! Shes hilarious and made a boring communications class super fun and engaging! She will help you out when you need it and take the time to explain assignments to you if you don't understand. I would take her class again in a heart beat. Her only down side is that she will take her time grading homework.

Nice lady. Confusing class. Didn't learn anything. Maybe she should focus on teaching and providing a worthwhile class instead of ignoring everything and working on her thesis.

She didn't grade anything until blackboard was down after the semester. I have no idea what I got on my final project or why my grade is so low when I put in probably 20 hours per paper. I am a hard working student and I received my lowest grade so far in university with her. She is unclear and I regret taking this class with her.

Dana is an amazing prof! With that being said, she was a little scattered wile completing her PHD (2015/2016) but is now back and more organized than I have ever seen her before. She understands us as students are human (most don't) and is respectful. Took CMNS 108 back in Fall 2015 and now in CMNS 208 and she continues to amaze and inspire me!

Fully ruined the semester and registration for me. Syllabus took more than a quarter of semester to be finalized. No assignments graded. Will tell you that she will allow revisions of your assignments it's a trap there will be no return marks.

She don't mark assignments until last second, but she marks really fair, you need to show up in her class to get good mark. Assignment not hard, you need to think about the situation she created before you write it.

Horrible. The syllabus was changed multiple times throughout, absolutely no assignments were graded or handed back. Her lectures consisted of us doing group discussions, creating the syllabus and deciding on assignments. No final grades still- deadline was 2 weeks ago! Completely screwed my scholarship applications, and now unreachable!

Dana is a really nice person however she was very confusing as a prof. I asked some questions earlier on to get some help and she would literally shut you off. I stopped asking because it was not even worth it anymore. The course outline was incomplete the first day of class and she kept changing it as the semester went on. She was too busy.

I don't recommend anyone to take this course. It will not help you in anyway. This is a harsh thing to say but I don't want anyone to waste their money on a course they don't need. The only good thing was that she was really good at giving you extensions if you asked

Literally the best prof at UFV. She is VERY fair in her markings and is clear with her marking criteria. She's also SUPER friendly, approachable and hilarious. I had her in my first year so I wasn't sure how other profs taught. But now that I look back at it, Dana genuinely wants her students to do well and is willing to help. Would def recommend!!

English isn't my strong suit. Alas I joined flock of 105 students there only because it's required and braced for the worst. Apprehension melted away after day one. Dana spent more time listening to my English-induced anxieties than I've ever experienced from a teacher. She's unbelievably approachable and deserves a whole lot of props!

Prior to taking English 105 all I heard were nightmares of the class and how it was boring and the profs were terrible. Well fear not! Dana Landry was flawless! She made her class relevant to what we were doing in other classes and tried to have our academic writing transferable to those other classes. Dana was funny, helpful, and overall awesome!!
