She is extremely unclear about what she is assigning. She lets you rewrite a lot but grades ridiculously hard. She mostly cares about spelling and punctuation even on in class work. She can be kind of snippy. The reading material was interesting except for one random incomprehensible essay. In class discussions very middle-school.

I do not recommend taking her freshman comp class..she's rather rude at times, calls us dumb, and expects things of us when she never makes what she wants clear in the first place. The only good thing is she allows you to re-do assignments to better your grade.

You put in hours of effort for at best a C, then can waste more time revising it to get the grade you should have got in FRESHMAN composition the first time. This woman refuses to give A's, no matter how hard you work. Direct quote, "If I have to touch my pen, you can't get an A." Awful. It's unfortunate that freshmen are usually not informed enough with the system to switch professors before they take her in the fall of their first year.

If you like being confused and being talked to like you are five, this is the class for you. She does not make sense and will tell you the rough draft is due and when that day comes, she will collect it and say that she meant to tell us the rough draft was due. The highest grade on our first test was a 62 and she was mad someone passed!

Terrible teacher, i was a A student in english all of high school. English 110 is a easy class if you do not have this teacher. We had to write a 10 page paper in 4 days. Also test are hard, she told us the first day of school it is very hard to get a A or a B in her class, and that her average test grade is a 49.. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

This teacher is very vague and will not be able to give you a clear answer on anything. She fought (verbally) with a student over his opinion of a test question in the middle of class. She assigns projects and does not give you the due date until the class before it is due.It is often hard to tell what she wants from you until it is too late.
