Tests are semi-hard. The grading: 2 tests (midterm + final cumulative) worth each 25% of your grade. 4 homeworks the whole semester (one-two page paper) and a team project. Pretty boring lectures but hes a good professor and a chill guy

A genuinely cool, funny guy at heart, but he does not have many assignments so if you do not do well on one exam it effects your grade severely. His slides are packed with information so if you don't go to class you will not pass. His tests are really hard but his quizzes are take-home. Cool guy, semi-tough class

Professor Golden's class was memorable. He is respectful to his students and cares about them. If you're struggling talk to him. Business doesn't come easy to everybody. Years later I look back and still appreciate his teaching style. The tests were not easy, but he makes it clear what you should know. Take down notes and read the whole chapter.

Lonnie was one of my favorite teachers this semester. I don't know if it was just because of it being honors course, but it was a laid back environment but we still got through the lessons. A lot of classroom discussion and relating outside topics to what we were learning. Also watched a fair amount of Daily Show! Graph-heavy ppts though =/

I don't know how people like this guy. He keeps you the entire class (2 hr 40 mins) and talks in the most mono-toned boring voice you've ever heard. I got an A in the class but this man is just unbearable. DO NOT take him, he gives BS busy work that is irrelevant, I cannot say enough bad things about him. He seems like a nice guy, but a bad teach

Good professor. Easy going, fair, but you need to be at class to get all the test material/notes. Course content is broad (doesn't follow one specific book) but the material was all relevent.

Amazing Professor. Complete knowledge of materials and relates class to "real world". Grading is fair and helps students. Will go out of his way to help anyone. Have taken 3 classes, and would recommend that everyone takes Dr. Golden

I was in jeopardy of failing, so I went and talked to him. He really did help, and he could see that I was trying. He did what he could to help me. Ended up with a C, much more than I had hoped for. One probably will not receive an A unless they are really interested in Economics. Pay attention and study, and you will pass.

I had Lonnie for Econ 002, and although it was a struggle to keep up with him, I ended up with a B. He is really a nice guy, and if you are having trouble, simply talk to him and he will be more than happy to help you. Even talking to him will help your grade. Really nice teacher.

The problem with him is that his lectures are hard to follow. So reading the textbook is the best thing to supplement the lectures. In this case he is the opposite to GYAPONG. I never really touched the textbook, which was my fault, and his lectures were confusing. Ended up with a C+. On the other hand, Gyapong's lectures are like spoon feeding(A-)

Lonnie's lectures are sometimes hard to follow, but he undoubtedly knows economics in and out. Text book is unnecessary if in class lectures are followed. --Write everything down and you will be fine

A very likable guy with a good attitude and a lot of knowledge. That said I can see why a lot of people have trouble understanding, it's college, people, the prof isn't going out of his way to make sure you understand every word. I ended with an A- and his letter of recommendation helped transfer me to GWU, GO GOLDEN!
