Very Good Teacher, Very Laid Back Guy. Stays Late for anyone that needs help or more time. Class is very organized, and you know what is expected. Review Sheets are exactly what your tested on. Very accessible

Comment:

He likes to take interest in student's learning and make sure you actually learn what you're being quizzed on. His classes are well organized so it's easy to fall in line and take advantage of the schedule. He will definitely be helpful if you ask a question or need further explanation.

Excellent Teacher, is as good as a teacher as there is. He is very helpful, and dedicated to making sure the students understand the material and the course. Professor Petty will also stay after class or come in early if theres any students that need additional help.

I liked this teacher. He was very organized with his presentations. If you do all of the work it is easy to get a good grade. If you came in to do lab on Saturday, he stayed as late as you wanted. Quizzes every week required studying every week.

I agree with the above comment on the use of a Lab Assistant. Aside from that, I learned much in his class. Be prepared to participate, you will be called upon. If you want to daydream, pick another class. Laid back or not, this instructor is effective.

Is willing to help those that put forth the effort. Not an over energetic teacher but makes things clear. If you ask a question, he will make sure you understand before moving on. Sticks to course syllabus to the letter. Only draw back is, he needs a lab assistant to move the lab part of the class along more smoothly.
