Comment:
Professor Stiffler is amazing. He really knows his literature and includes real-world examples of everything we read. He is accommodating to all of his students, I specifically had him during the COVID-19 pandemic and he was doing above and beyond what was required to ensure each and everyone one of us could pass his class. Word of advice: Show up!

Great professor ! Even though I've always disliked English literature , Stiffler was able to keep me encouraged , mostly by showing that if you do the work , he'll be there to help through the rest . Very open minded and knows his material like the back of how hand.

I took Stiffler my first semester, and he made me decide to be an English major. He encourages deep analysis and is always encouraging. I love his Quotes Tests; they really leave room for engaging with the text. Plus, you know he has a crazy hippie past. I admit I have a little crush on him.

Dan Stiffler expects a lot from students BUT he gives you all the tools to succeed. He bends over backwards to help students and is honest, straight-forward and genuine. I loved how his classes were mostly discussion centered.
