best Orgo teacher ever! so happy that I have him for orgo 2 as well!. You don't need to go to class since its almost useless (unless you study beforehand you dont understand him) but you HAVE to solve the practice problems and sample tests. If you don't have enough time, dont read textbook. Just focus on the sample tests!

Definately a great teacher to have for orgo. His lectures are extremely boring but if you try to pay attention and study it's not hard to do well. And he gives bonus points on all the tests.

Forsyth is the most fair teacher in regards to tests. Do not assume he is easy, if you want an A, you still have to study. I personally did not get much out of going to class. I read the book, did the assigned problems, and then studied his practice tests. Had him for Orgo 1 and 2, got A's both semesters.

Always tying in current topics w/ real world. Sincerely wants you to do well. Tests are *very* thorough: if you don't know material cold, it'll show. He doesn't dumb it down. The subject is *hard*. Tests from lectures, so regular attendance makes the difference.

Absolutely the best orgo professor in the world. I was scared to death about orgo before I took his class, but the way he taught it made it the easiest course I took in the fall. Exams are just like the practice ones. Attend the lectures, read the book, study hard, and you'll get an A. Choose this professor for orgo if you can!

Best orgo teacher out there. He explains things well and goes in depth on many subjects. The book reinforces his lectures well. I would suggest attending the lectures as often as possible though. Hes a nice guy and will always talk about other questions during office hours. Plus the tests are fair and are almost identical to the practice tests.

Even though he is the best of the three teachers, alot of the time it still seems as though he's speaking a different language during lecture. He usually writes really fast and draws his diagrams all over the place, so i'd suggest sitting near the front if you wanna be able to see anything. Also hardcore study the practice tests!

Awesome. I loved this class after having dreaded it beforehand. He really knows how to teach this stuff. Alot more than I can say for my orgo 2 professor. If you can take a class with Forsyth, do it.

Professor Forsyth is a really good teacher. Read before hand and he exams you DIRECTLY from the problems in the text. So make sure you do the problems and study. Orgo is obviously not easy, you gotta work for it and Forsyth out of all of them is the best i can say. Nice and fair. LeQuesne is awful
