Keller was a fantastic professor and I'd be happy to take his class again! His entire ENGL105 course consisted of 5 essays & 2 books. Homework load isn't too much at all and pretty easygoing. He is super chill and laid back but will drop you after 6 absences. Keller helped me with everything in the class and was very understanding if I struggling.

Hes really nice but an all over the place teacher. The classes are super boring and a waste of time. If you go to office hours, he does give good feedback on your essays though. It's a super lazy class but he expects a lot out of your essays even though he doesn't really teach anything in an easy way, he just jumps around a lot and goes off topic

He is really nice and a pretty good teacher. The classes are very boring though. If you go to office hours, he gives good feedback on your essays. Main complaint is the prompts are very weird. They are all some weird vague question about feminism which makes it hard to figure out how it has anything to do with story. Tough grader on essays.

I took ENGL 105 and ENGL 165 with Keller , He is great and amazing professor, helped me a lot and gave me many ideas to improve my essays. Although he is hard in grads, you can meet him in his office many times to help you and get good grads. His lectures are interested and you have to read 3 books , but you enjoy his class and have fun.

I've taken Mr. Keller for three classes. English 848, Lit 201, and English 165 and he never disappointed me. He is a great collaborator. Helps you with papers with the greatest dedication. Explains his grading reasoning. Just show enthusiasm and he will be there for you every step of the way. Wonderful teacher! Take him and don't hesitate!

Professor Keller was the greatest English professor I've had at CSM so far. He actually goes over essay prompts in class and gives students time to draft in class and offers input when we need it. He wants to make sure we all understand the rubric for the essay and know that we know what we're doing. Essays relate to everyday life too. Take him!

Keller is one of the best professors on CSM's campus (s/o to my previous ENG 105 professor Jeramy Wallace though, who is great too). Thankfully, he has assigned essays on really interesting topics and books. Also, it is important to know that he always around to help and explains everything thoroughly. Take his class if you're serious about ENG

If you want to get an A in the class, do all of the homework on time and go to his office hours to get help on the essays. He's a pretty chill dude but falling behind in his class will definitely damage your grade. And DO NOT DO ALL OF YOUR WRITING CENTER APPOINTMENTS THE WEEK BEFORE FINALS BECAUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Great english teacher, but extremely tough grader! He expects you to interpret literature exactly as he does, even though the papers he assign are supposed to be about your own interpretation of a piece of work. I consider myself a great student and a decent writer, but always received B or C grades on writing assignments - very frustrating.

I knew from day 1 that I was in the right class. The way Keller teaches is so much fun. He rarely lectured and made class fun. All of the things in class we did could be applied to the real world. There are a few essays, but if you don't put them off, you're golden. Take advantage of his office hours. And the final was a little too easy.

He was a great teacher. My first semester at CSM and he made it great. Really understanding. Makes class fun and adds in jokes here and there. He's very easy going and not hard to get along with at all. Always there to help as well. His essays weren't too bad because he gives a big packet of what's needed and how to write it.

I took Prof Keller for engl 848 &am currently taking him for engl 100. He is VERY passionate about teaching &willing to take the extra step if you are. He is a hard essay grader but he makes sure you know what you need to do. You can get an A if you put in the effort! You do about 4 essays &they are all somewhat related to you! Take him if you can
