Comment:

Super hard worker, almost always in his office. He's big on class participation and really wants you to have a deep understanding as well as an opinion on the material. Funny, smart, well traveled, and experienced it's hard to pass on him, but be ready to put in about 2 or more hours a day on his material, you definitely earn your grade.

This class is supposed to be for those with no knowledge of Spanish, but he keeps up with the ones that took it in highschool instead. He goes too fast and wont repeat things. Do not take him!

When I went into this class for the first time as a senior, I was nervous, because I had not taken Spanish since I was a senior in high school. Dr. Nappo was absolutely great, and I am glad that I took him! I will say that he did make me nervous, because I never knew when he was going to call on me, but he believes that all his students can do it!

He is very good at making learning Spanish entertaining and fun. He speaks spanish during class but clarifies in English if he uses vocabulary that would not be used at that course level. He gives homework but it is not overwhelming. Going to class is key in this type of course but he isn't a stickler for attendance. Turn in all homework and study.

Dr. Nappo is by far my favorite spanish teacher. He goes above and beyond to help you learn or if you need any help. His class is fun and I looked forward to learning in his class. You speak a lot in his class, it helps you learn the language really well. Best professor in the department!

He is a wonderful teacher and a really funny guy! I felt like I was behind in the class and he made me feel like I was not. Clarifies the subject wonderfully! He speaks only in Spanish, it really helps you learn it better!!!

I had Nappo for 115 and 122. He really is a good professor. Very funny in how he teaches and makes everything clear. Easy A and a must take! He is really fun and the assignments aren't that bad. He tells you what to expect on quizzes and test and he goes over the stuff 1000 times in class so as long as you show up you should be prepared.

I loved this class! His tests included exactly what he taught in class. The lab really was helpful in understanding when people were speaking. He speaks in Spanish most of the time which really helps you to remember things (because you have to), he will explain in English if you ask or if he sees that no one knows what he is talking about.

Professor Nappo really knows what he's doing. Take him! The class is easy. Yes, he gives homework, quizzes, test, etc. But you've gone over all of it in class. No surprises. Also, go to lab! It is essential to your grade! He's willing to help, not that you'll need it. He is also funny in his examples and whatnot. You'll really enjoy and understand!

Very funny and interesting. Speaks Spanish nonstop which can be overwhelming at first, but if you at least try to speak Spanish to him he really appreciates it. He's a really great professor, I'd take his class again in a heartbeat!

Really nice guy. Having said that I wouldn't take him unless you are already pretty decent at Spanish. He is a really rough grader and doesn't give everyone the same amount of attention. Super nice guy though, keeps class entertaining and fun.

Speaks a lot of spanish in class which at first can be intimidating. But it will help you to learn spanish and by the end of the semester you will be understanding most everything said in class. Tests are not bad. Godd professor.

Dr. Nappo is great and his class is not hard as long as you do the required work. I recommend him highly because he is an exceptional professor and is the best I've had so far at UTM.
