i dont care what others say, daniel is the best teacher i have ever have. he teaches creativity and freedom and he deserves to be recognized for his accomplishments. he is a great teacher despite what ANY of you have to say!

The first year having Mr. Ortega as an instructor he was great. Something happen along the way.As of 2007 he has become worthless and lazy he should not be advising anyone at that school.I have taken him these past years only because i had to. I will never take another class with this instructor, i would rather drop the major.

Doesn't let you know of grade status at all. Arrives late every day, incompetent, not helpful when you need him to be. Doesn't know the difference between helping a student along a project and giving vague comments that don't answer a question.

After seeing what kind of work the other studios produced, it has to be said that all the students in Ortega's class were really unfortunate. He doesn't teach nearly as well as the other professors, and there is no architectural foundation to his teaching. He preaches freedom and creativity, and the students' work was ridiculous as a result.

No teaching, whatever you learned prior to class is what you'll work with, he just assign then grades, he doesn't care one way or the other if we learn at school. He says he wants us to be creative in school, and our employers can teach us the business, tenure creates laziness, and don't be 2 minutes late for pin up or 1/2 your grade is docked.

Daniel is one of the best Professors I have ever had. He is very helpfull! Expects a-lot from his students and makes you feel like you have to work hard for him. He is very fair. His studio was far ahead of the others. Daniel makes it fun to go to class and makes you want to learn. Take Daniels class if you have the chance!

This class is a relaxed discussion class. It's a nice change from most lecture classes. Everyone participates a little, but Danny has the floor most of the time. It's easy to get him off on a tangent and punctuallity isn't an issue. Overall a good class.
