Dr. Perkins has taught me how to speak. He is a nice guy, but comes down hard on people sometimes. It is effective. At first I wondered how I got into such a bad class, then I realized how much he really cares about improving his students!

Perk rocks, all who have dissed him just don't get it. Intercultural Comm was such a blast. He creates his own culture and it freaks people out. A girl in my class actually cried becuase she wasn't allowed to take notes! It was so great!

He is an awful professor. You will probably get an A or B, but listening to him make fun of everyone and **** about anything he possibly can takes so much patience that the class is not worth it. He is only interested in hearing his own voice. I highly recommende another speech professor.

Perkins is my advisor, and I have taken many classes from him. I truly admire him for challenging students in his classes, and for being one of the most approachable professors I've ever had. He's retiring after the Fall 2005 semester, so I would take any class of his while you still can!!

Perkins comes off as a hard ass but the guy is awesome. He is extremely professional and really focuses on improvement rather than how good you are. 4 speeches, 2 midterms, he is always available for help as well. I'd have him again!

Um...jerk. Very hardheaded. He loves to argue but loves to try to bring students down a peg even more. He does give good comments and you can learn from him, he is condesending however and accepts no excuses. I would not take him again.
