Definitely recommend. He is very intelligent, fun, and fair. His lectures are not only interesting but you actually learn in this class. The work is easy. No test. The final is a research paper and he is a very easy grader as long as you do it in his format. Would deff take again

Comment:

Dr. Tomasulo is AWSOME and so is this class. Its an elective but its worth taking because you get another side of psychology - the positive side. This course teaches you how to have and keep a healthy life with longevity. There was a textbook assigned however its only for home use. He posts quizzes online for every chapter and they are fairly easy.

Great professor with an awesome aura. His teaching doesn't seem like work and overall the class was intriguing. Dr. Tomasulo is easily one of the best professors I've had. The class is easy as far as the workload as long as you keep up with it. I recommend it.

Excellent professor. The 15 online quizzes are self-explanatory. The professor works in the field of positive psychology and he actually took the time to teach us some very useful skills for life. He introduced us to meditation, which I now use on a daily basis. He also introduced us to the simple act of gratitude. This course was awesome!

The first day of class was cool. Beside the 15 quizzes, 2 papers and the outline which is ridiculous. He checks them very late or he has his secretary to check the work. & to top it off the semester turn into a meditating class. You need the book for the quizzes. Easy grade if you do his assignments. Get ready to talk the whole period!

I was a part of the very first session of Positive Psychology at NJCU. This class had never been introduced to NJCU before. This professor really fought for this course to be offered at NJCU and succeeded! This class was so amazing, inspirational doesn't even cover it. This class changed the way I look at a lot of things in life.

This guy is easy but he is either too busy with his life to be a prof or is just anti-social. He doesn't want you asking any questions at all, any questions you have, you'll have to find them in the syllabus which is crazy. He responds to every message in a timely manner. He gives 15 tests, & 2 papers (with 2 outlines) but no finals

I have no idea what the rest of these people are talking about when they say this is the "best" class ever. This class is not interesting at all. The work load is insane. It shouldn't be called positive psych because nothing about it is positive when nothing comes out naturally. everything is forced. i am not impressed by this class at all.

The textbook is mandatory. It is only used at home for online quizzes. Quizzes, outlines and papers are all due online. Does not matter if attendance is mandatory or not, you attend then you comprehend. He is outgoing and jokes around. There is nothing "sneaky" or unexpected that he does. Great professor.

This past semester, I took Positive Psychology w/ Prof. Tomasulo. I'm not exaggerating when I say it changed my life. It's the best course I've ever taken, and I've been in school for the last 5 years. Dan is a joy to be around. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject is a rare and enlightening experience. Do yourself a favor - take this class!

Amazing online professor! Very understanding of late assignments, responds to emails, sends out reminders before assignments are due, very helpful. Doesn't require too much, 2 research papers, couple of discussion questions. 100% recommend him! Online course is perfect!

I have had this man twice. He always has interesting stories about what we are learning, that we can apply in real life. For all his classes you do need the text book because all his quizzes will be based on the chapters. He is a fair professor, and will take the time to explain.Make sure to take Positive Psych with him.It's something else!
