Awesome teacher! He is very funny and will make the class fun. However he is very unorganized so you really have to pay attention and ask questions. I recommend him!

I took him my first semester at MCC, he was wonderful. He is a little unorganized but he more then makes up for it. Go to each class, read each chaper, and take good notes and you will be fine. He was super funny and tells lots of stories so basically its just listening.

DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY!!!! Took this guy for both intro to phil and critical thinking...... HE well play mind games in critical thinking and never learn at all. Also he goes to stories that are not related to the subjuct at all.

I loved Professor Walker in intro. to Philosophy but his Critical Thinking class is a nightmare. He is unorganized and gets off topic too fast. Added way too much at the end of the semester. That is not the time to get serious. You grades are a mystery until finals are graded too. Im disappointed.

Class is extremely interesting! I took intro to Philosophy. If you're up for a mind tickling class, this is the class to take. & take Mr. Walker. I took the class 2-3 sem ago, and I still keep the book we used in the class for personal use. Fun fun class. Class is reading intensive as all the lecture usually comes from the book. U take quizzes everyday but if u understand the book or at least close to it, you should be in great shape. Do take good notes! And come to class on time!

Hated this class!!!! He is ADD as hell and cannot stick to a topic. His reviews don't coordinate with the test and his reading assignments are the only consistency in the class. His voice and mannerisms make me feel that he is yelling all the time!

Mr. Walker is the best!!! I loved this class and looked forward to his silly humor and great ties. He is the nicest person and cares about his students. I recommend this class. Come to class, bc there is a quiz everytime No study guides, so take good notes, and study the hand-outs. Can not take the final if you like your grade prior to finals.

Mr. Walker is truly remarkable. Very fun to talk to after class, and gets the class involved in the lectures. Is very fair with grading (the worst 25% are dropped), and only makes you take two of the three tests (including the final). You have to read a LOT, but if you're up to it, Walker will open your mind. Is very funny. I'll miss the class.

Prof. Walker is really nice and easy going. He's always there to help you. I got an A. He gives you a lot of information to remember and his tests are really hard. He throws stuff on there that he didn't say would be on there so watch out! He does give a lot of extra credit though! Show up everyday b/c he gives you a quiz every time.

mr. walker knows what he's talking about. very helpful, he loves to tell stories. reading the sections is a must b/c there is a quiz everytime the class meets. very fair teacher. he is willing to give you a chance and help u if you put in the effort. i would recommend him. i would recommend you have a sense of humor too.

Dann is the Mann! He is very thorough with his lessons, because he wants to ensure you get this message, especially for his test. His class isn't hard, as long as you understand the material. I'm going to miss the guy and his special ties. Don't be afraid to take his class, just show up on time, take proper notes and ask questions

Mr. Walker is really cool, always wants to help, and really cares. His tests are kinda hard and sometimes contain material he only thought he covered, he usually accounts for that when grading though. Really read the chapters and pay attention in class. If you're open to his "goofy" personality, you'll love his class.

Very easy class for the young mind. Those who are older appear to have a much more difficult time. I spent most of my time waiting for others to catch up (may want to consider taking in day if you have little patience). Walker is a very nice, smart, funny guy who knows his stuff. He let me take the final 2 weeks early so i stopped going to class.
