Great professor. Definitely expects you to work for your grade. Lecture Heavy. He is very caring. If you have an issue or don't understand something he will help you. Comment:

Your textbook is your best friend. Also, make sure you do the review questions that he creates for each Unit. This is the key to the success in his class. He is always willing to meet with you in his office if you have questions about things, you just have to ask. Sometimes vague in email responses, but overall not bad if you do whats required.

Comment:

I will start this by saying I am terrible at science. This will not be an easy grade. You have to work for it and read the material. There is no lecture it is all reading his class notes and the book. He does provide bonus quizzes that help your grade. But seriously DONT take this class expecting it to be easy.

Goodloe is the man. I did both parts of his online Bio classes in 6 days combined and came out with a B both times. Don't believe me? Ask him. If you complain about him being too difficult or too tough of a professor, you may be lacking a few brain cells.

It's kind of said to see Professor Goodloe rated so lowly because of the difficulty of his class. It's actually a pretty easy class (in lecture. Don't do online if you're strapped for time.) You pay for a good education, and Goodloe will give you one. He expects you to know the material, but has extra credit opps as well. Doesn't give mch homework

I took his online class and found it to be impossible. I normally take classes online and enjoy them very much. This was the worst class that I have ever taken. I dedicated several hours each week to this class and it did not matter. I would not recommend taking any of his classes!

He's a tough professor but only because he expects you to learn and retain the material. Lecture Heavy! I don't recommend this professor to anyone who expects a smooth ride through the course. He's funny, caring and lenient on students who try to pass. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you need him to slow down; remember, you may not be the only.

He has a very clear-cut list of expectations, and you will have to put in hard work in order to make a good grade in this course. I enjoyed the challenge that comes with having a professor that makes you earn your grade! He genuinely cares about his students, and wants them to succeed. As long as you try hard, you will do fine! Highly recommended!

Tough BUT if you study you will pass , you can't wait a day or two before a test to study and expect to pass. There is Alot of material you have to know to pass the test and his test are fill in the blank. The test are actually very easy when you actually study.

I was taking Biology as an online class and had to drop it. He doesn't reply quickly to emails if he replies at all. When he does reply it is very vague. Very hard to keep up. DO NOT TAKE ONLINE!

Goodloe is a very tough teacher. You need to memorize the syllabus & listen closely to everything he says in class. Gives a normal amount of tests, but a load of quizzes. Make sure to always email him if you have to miss a classlab, and do any extra credit he offers. I worked hard in his class, but received my first C anyway.

I love Mr. Goodloe he is awesome. If you are going into the medical field or something close to that, then yes he is the perfect teacher. He teaches in a way where you will remember if forever. He is hard and strict. He expects a lot. You really have to study a lot. I had a B in there but making an A is hard. However he is really funny and cool.

Do not take Mr. Goodloe for a distance class! I have heard his lecture class is hard, but I found the distance class to be impossible. I usually do well in distance classes. The tests were very difficult and were nothing like the study guide. He rarely answers emails. I once asked for clarification and he said "you have to figure it out".

Cleary explains what he expects of you and the course material. Lots of quizzes and tests. If you do not want to study then do not take him. Nice guy though and very funny. You have to earn your grade in his class, he doesn't just give them out.

I have never made a B in my life until this class. Spent alot of time studying and always came up short. Read chapters cover to cover, study guides, flash cards, and always found new information on the tests. He prides himself in being difficult!!!
