Comment:
All assignments are by email, assuming she decides to do one. Does not clarify. I am an EMT and she constantly puts me down for it and says I shouldn't take the class. She has an attitude if you ask questions. The content is not difficult, but she states on the first day of class that she makes it difficult. She is not helpful at all.

She does not explain things at all and sends all the notes and projects through e-mail. She only explained one set of notes and everything else you had to fend for yourself. She is very passionate but just does not take the time to explain what you have to do. There's also no text book so that's awesome.

I took Dr. Zeakes' classes in the early 1990s. She was excellent! I have always thought highly of her and always enjoyed my time at RU in her class.

By far the hardest, busiest 2 credit class I have ever taken. Have to do a workout unit, which averages out to be around 30 pages. Also have to teach an aerobics routine and weight room exercise. Very strict on attendance as well. Very hard and demanding, but I also learned a lot in this class as well.

Personal Health and Wellness, gen ed. Summer 2. What an amazing teacher! Shes such a nice and caring person. You will learn alot, even in summer 2, only a month long. She keeps you entertained so dont worry if the class is at 8 am. Gave us books and allowed to chose what we wanted to learn about health. A teacher all others should aspire to be!

dr. zeakes was hands down my favorite professor at Radford and especially in the ESHE department. She was always willing to help out and is just an all around fantastic teacher. If you get the opportunity to have her as a professor, take it!

Dr. Zeakes was one of my favorite professors while at RU. I wouldn't be the teacher I am today without all of her help.

Dr. Zeakes is awesome!! She's always available and willing to help. Her main objective is not to lecture but to help students learn and she does a great job at that! Wish I could take her for all my ESHE classes!:o)
