Amazing teacher. He does his best to help everyone understand and will work with you if you ask. He is also very understanding if you need to miss a class or make up an exam. I loved having his class even if poli sci is rather boring.

I actually had him for basic PSCI and Ethics. He is without a doubt the best teacher I have had at Shepherd. Whether you agree with him or not, he will encourage you to speak your mind, and share your thoughts. He is a great professor. To pass, just show up, be respectful when others are talking, and throw in your 2 cents, and you'll do great.

A fun prof! He's actually very humble, easygoing, and encouraging with regards to dialogue compared to some of the other profs in the dept, so you're free to speak your mind on the issues without fear of being mocked. Woods' class isn't too difficult as a result. Just come in and participate in discussions, and you'll do fine.

Woods is an amazing professor. I didn't care much for the subject until this class. He makes it interesting and you can tell he loves what he does. Lectures are interesting and very helpful. They go along with the reading from the textbook. Nicest professor ever. Know the definition for politics as it is on every exam. Go to every class to pass.

Dr. Woods is amazing. I thought I loved government studies, but his class showed me that I know I love it. He loves teaching, and is one cool guy. I had lunch with him, and we discussed the presidential race. He even went and found information on electorates I didn't have. He gets a 100% in my book

Excellent Teacher!! He is crystal clear when it comes to explaining more complex terms n' such. Know the definition of POLITICS. Politics: the relationships and arguments within society about how society should be run. This is the classic Woods def. And believe me, it'll be on every test!!

Woods was awesome! very nice, very funny! I would take him again any day! There are alot of T/F questions on his tests so if u dont like T/F dont take him. Know meanings of words in text that seem big or hard he will ask the definitions of them on the tests or in quizes, if he asks u the word on a quiz it WILL be on the test. HAVE FUN!

He is a great teacher. He explains everything very clearly and even give you a chance to ask questions about the exams and quizzes before the exam day. His tests can be difficult if you do not study and do the assigned readings, they can be on the tests.
